You must be kidding................about like riding on the best boat -- "The Titanic". Best (0 - 3) team or even (0 - 4); but after about (0 - 5); it becomes a hard sell. Best (0 - 8) team can only win the Ms Warthog Pageant - 2009. Gotta admit, you gotta a shot at the title. Slam dunk if you lose to Portland. Last great (0 - 8) team was Dog Patch HS coached by Joe Btfsplk *note.....great offensive mind, but just a tad unlucky!! Best (0 - 8); come on!!!! You gotta be a relative of the HC!

If you have a "pitcher" and "catchers" and (1) good RB; this is good stuff! If the "pitcher" can also run.......... even better. Brighton probably has those ingredients.............. Please do not use MUS or Hoover as example. These 2 schools had the "bought" offense but they also have "bought" players; I dare-say those 2 could be successful with any type offense. For the record; Tony had a bit of trouble this past weekend with his new team MTSU and his revolutionary offense.........only could muster 6 points. It is really not X's and O's.........it is always the players. I will make this statement about this type offense; if you attempt it without certain ingredients ----- be prepared for some very ugly results!! WC and Dyer Co are probably good examples of what can happen with a "slow clock" offense. Incomplete passes will stop the clock!! Like any type "O"..........looks good when it is clicking.

To my knowledge no but put in an application maybe the HC will hire you to be an assistant and you could help the team improve, perhaps you could be part of the solution! You said "someone should apply for the HC job".............like it was open or going to be open! Sorry, I would have to take a pay cut!

Do you realize your talking about highschool football! Are you really such a sad strange little man that you get your happiness from trash talking about a bunch of kids. If you are a student and kicking your peers when they are down I fear for the future of our country. I would remind you all who trash talk on these threads we are talking about kids playing a game, most of whom will never play beyond highschool. Lets put it in perspective no one likes to lose but I will say this to you and to anyone who will hear if you think you can do it better contact the wilson county school board apply for the head coaching job at Central and show us all how its done! If your not going to be a part of the solution then your a part of the problem so walk away like the players, coaches and fairweather fans have done. I say good riddance to bad rubbish and keep working boys your school was somethin like 0-24 before they got their first win, lots of players coaches and fans came and went in those years but the programs first win was against an undefeated team. I truly feel sorry for these kids. Their HC got a big head and maybe fired the best OC in the state of tennessee. If aint broke, dont fix it, and their offense sure as hades wasnt broke............ Didn't you know??? Lost Old Dad main reason for the change! "El Hombre Gordo" kept reading his posts about that bad old ugly WC wing-t offense; so "Gordo" junked it, and went to the snazzy spread stuff. Also, does this mean that MTSU will get 3 more wins, and help them when they are outmanned.............oops; didn't help at Clemson. LOD, really has no idea.......... the magnitude of his influence!! LOL But "Gordo Hombre" is the HEAD COACH and he can choose do what he pleases, and he must have decided that he wanted to do something different. Might be OK in the long run!!

Some of you so-called Riverdale "FANS" make some of the most moronic posts yet...............just because the TSSAA has come of with this new watered down 6 class thing; H'ville is now a smaller classification??...............when they have been large school forever!! Both schools are 3A......... Also, Lost Old Dad............what offense would you have Riverdale run other than that "funky old wing-t" crap (that you speak of constantly). What would it be: (here are some picks) 1.) Lavergne (Tony Franklin stuff)............scoring machine! 2.) Siegel (clone of the Rankin offense).........another scoring machine!! 3.) Oakland smash mouth ..........duller than the wing-T?? *note, I actually like what he does; Oakland will not score much; but neither will the other team. Because, you ain't gonna see the ball much. Riverdale may be one of the top-scoring "O"'s in the Mid-State..........what would you have Ron run? I am really curious. I am amazed in fact!! Hendersonville is a well-coached team (that really runs wing-t crap) that took advantage of a couple breaks in the game and pulled out a win...........

If "average improvement" is 3 wins; then WC may bring the TF average down some (LOL .......actually not funny). I did some checking on the actual costs of this thing. Did WC attend the coach/player sessions at MTSU this season? This cost a bundle per player!! WC and players MAY have spent over $10,000 on the "Tony" ( if 20 players attended). Mini..........I got to tell you!! In the words of the circus guy (Barnum??) "There's a sucker born every minute". Also, 82.7% of statistics are made up on the spot!!

Now where exactly does that come from?? Does Franklin keep records of all teams that use his system? Does that include all teams that have paid the money and tried it AND stayed with it. Does it include those that drop it. That average 3 wins sounds like something that politicians or snake-oil salesman just pull out of the thin air. If you have some athletes, and you coach them up with enthusiasm....most things will work OK. I simply cannot believe a coach or school would pay that kind of money for a playbook!

Are you saying that that the WC coach scrapped his old offense and went with this Air Franklin stuff and in the first scrimmage; they do not make a first down! I believe I would be asking for a refund. How much does that stuff cost? Hope the booster club did not pay for it!!

What about the MJ/WC match-up this year! I hear that WC has changed there offense to a spread-type offense. Why did they do that? OK, who will win - MJ or WC; I think WC has won the last 4-5 games!!

How did the Wildcats look??........................either one?? WC is now in our district, they have been pretty good in a tough league for the past few seasons. Did they dominate OR?. We hear that they have changed to a spread-type offense.

It would seem to me that Lebanon and WC would come into this league and really be stepping down a level. I think they might be the bullies of the league; they certainly have been playing with a tough group over there in Rutherford Co. and everyone's pick MJ has not beat WC in what 3 or 4 years? If I am the other coaches in this league; I beleive I would look at the two teams very carefully.

Are you saying that SC will be the best of Sumner Co?? Most on here say that Sumner will easily dominate the Wilson Co. teams! If this is the case; then you are saying that SC will win the region. This new schedule in 5A-6A does not give you those 5-6 pitty-pat games. It will be tough games week after week after week and then so-on. I would be careful with teams like Mt Juliet, Gallatin, Lebanon, Wilson Central, Hendersonville. They have been in the week to week wars for a long time!
