Grundy put a hurting on CCS last night and it fun to get to see them play again. It looks like they picked up right where they left off after the break. It looked like Grundy was on a misson last night. They seem to have everything going for them right now. Marion better hope the snow will cool the Jackets down before Friday. Because if not the Warriors could be in for a long night. I know your not suppose to look ahead but I can't wait til the Jackets play Sequatchie again. That away I can quit hearing that Seq. only lost by 3 to Grundy. Its still a lost and Seq. can't hang with Grundy like that again.

This was a fun game to watch. Grundy battled back many times. There was way to many fouls called and most of them went against Grundy. When a team has five players that foul out and the other team has one it looks as if there was favoritism shown. Maybe Grundy's coach should have said more to the ref's but I guess he didn't want to make it worst on his players. This is not a knock against Upperman. They have some players that shoot the ball very well and under some pressure to. Good luck to the Bee's. I think this is Grundy's last game til the Christmas Tournaments. They should be able to get some easy wins during the break to get them jump started for rest of the season.

Is Grundy as good as the record shows so far?(5-1) After watching them beat Bledsoe, I don't see anyone in the District keeping up with them. Anytime a team goes to Sequatchie and Bledsoe early in the season and comes away with wins that doing something good. Keep rolling Jackets!

Slow? Grundy will not come out slow. This should be a close game but Grundy should win. Good luck to both.

What kind of depth does SP have? Their first five are solid, but after that do they have much exprience?

Does Upperman play Grundy Co. again this year? If so Upperman could be in a world of hurt from them. I know it doesn't mean much because it's non-district, but it is always a good measuring stick for both teams. Good luck to the Bee's this season.

This one won't be close Grundy will run away with the game. I look for Grundy to have the back ups in early in the second half. Could be good to see what kind of depth they have for late in the season. Does anyone know who will be Grundy's toughest oppent this season?

Nice article DL. His family sure has been a huge part of Grundy County Sports. This shows that he was the correct choice for the job for sure.

Who are Sequatchie's key players this year? Who are the players that are going to be missed from last year?

I heard that Coach Bryant has got the boys working out hard. Harder than they have ever worked out. They have been strictly lifting weights for 5 or 6 weeks and plan to start running in a couple of weeks. I believe this is a step in the right direction. That is true. I have not thought about it like that. Is there any big names he is after at the monment? I heard he was looking into Joe Montana's son. B.J. Coleman is my pick also. I believe the team would rally around him better than they would Crompton. I hope Coach Kiffen gives Coleman the starting job at the start of the season and doesn' t wait.

It would take a lot of money to get Coach Grider away from SP. With hard times on money right now i don't think Whitwell will be able to give him enough. Even if Whitwell could i still don't think Coach Grider would leave SP. It would be a huge mistake on his part if he did. What about looking out of the county? How about Coaches from Grundy, Seq., or Bledsoe? Is there any Coaches that someone knows that would be interested from theses counties?
