Well, Well, looky here, Mr Noitall admitting the 840 ladies have done his picks in. But ole buddy, after being at all the WC games, it is a close race this year. Like you said, pitching is a far ways off as in the past, the Levie's & the the Kats are gone and everyone is just average at best, even little cat. Hitting will have to step up and I think WC will prevail with Beech a second place, but who knows? Can't wait, The end is near! been a great year for 840 ladies! DubC

Great Job Lindsey!! Anybody that has ever played with you in last several years knew you were something special! A player that comes along "once in a blue moon". Really enjoyed the 2 seasons with you and family in the old "RedHotz" days! Keeping up with you from back here in Middle Tn. Make good decisions for education after high school, as we all know not much softball life after college for most, but best wishes!

Well MrNoitAll, looks as if 840 ladies had a good run, but Congrats to Ravenwood with a 11-6 victory! Wilson Central gave up a 4-1 lead to a team that wasn't gonna quit. Ravenwood had a couple big innings late and our Wildcat ladies just ran out of recovery time. Ravenwood mighta had a little revenge for us in mind, after knocking them out last year at this same time. No sense bellyaching about this call, that call, etc, etc. Ravenwood got the job done tonite. Good look to all the real good teams headed to Mboro next week! We'll be a payin to get in this year, but what a great run for the 840 Ladies, did alot better than most of us thought, and we be lookin tough for next few years, with some good young talent. But to all ya'll headed to da Boro, enjoy, stay healthy! DubC

YES SIR ! Mr NoitAll, no matter how many times these people on here forget to take their "Happy Pills", one thing is for certain, ya don't mind sayin a few kind words when due, along with a few fun pokes at others, some people jus can't take it ya know. Ain't missed many games on 840 this year or the road games, so I couldnt swear to any record or verify one. But you is dead on it again that we played some pretty good ball when needed at the right time. But come Friday, its the only one that matters @ Ravenwood. Yep, Coach has done a real good job jus stayin in the middle of the road with players and parents, jus kinda sittin back and takin it all in, riding the ride. He's a good young fellow, knows the game well, kinda like a cat waiting to pounce, and some pouncing needs to be done as in any program with an abundance of talent 2-3 deep in most spots. Sometimes you just gotta let things ride til the right time comes along to set people straight. Them Little Darlins would all love to be out there, and some of them parents already countin the Big $$ their Darlins gonna make in the Pro Leagues, probably slide right past college, ya know. Gotta keep it real, I hope they is a savin their money, cause if you'll remember on the NCAA tv commercial, 95% of students "Turn Pro" at sumpin other than sports! Thanks for da kind words. Wilson Central vc Hendersonville tonite was as Good as it Gets! Back & forth scoring each inning, good pitching on both teams. Neither team would give up, games close all year, but Wilson Central finished strong, winning 15-10. These team pretty well evenly matched talent -wise. More than likely will have to play 1 more time, although Hendersonville will have to get by Mt Juliet in the losers bracket, and providing Beech beats Wilson Central on Thursday. Take away one good inning for Beech and MJ would still be in winner bracket. Beech just not the team of last year, but remember, you only have to win by 1 run!

PhastpitchPhan, Assuming ya'll speaking of nobody in particular- Just as much caution taken with alot of "school faculty", sometimes you won't like the ones they choose as your coach either, coaches either don't know enough of the game on the dirt, or just not good origanizers and depend too much on booster people to do things. It is really sad when school athletes, girls and guys don't get the instruction/leadership they deserve in their sport. This lack of leadership/knowledge will lead to a failing program. It's a vicious cycle we have to live with,or not, and it's also the reason more kids lean to travel sports as their #1 option of involvement, opting to play for experienced coaching/leadership, not just an appointment. But then on the other hand, we don't want to be under a dictatorship either, no matter who is running the show!

Yea Mr NoitAll, I saw the change in the 3 feet in fall travel ball, pitchers were strugglin, just givin battin practice, tired by 2nd inning.... Very cold in Mt Juliet, if we'd been closer to 840, and home, it'd been warmer in God's country......But ya know its what we gotta put up with for a while...jus bundle up! The 840 Ladies got some power and alot of quickness, about 4-5 on there that can keep up with anybody....decent pitching, some good catchers, a couple of learning rebuilding years ahead..... But, still gotta face the Kat... ya know how tough that'll be...... dubc

Sorry Warrior, I was there also, I disagree...the drum DID BEAT during play and not just in between innings....but like TruBlu said it didnt matter...YOU're Girls Just Kicked tail! State Champs, no matter about everything else....

I agree 100% there "DaddyO"....but really cant expect that when Wilson Co teams win over them over there....... But thinking back, I'm pretty sure the Lebanon game was rained out and not rescheduled cause it didnt matter anyway being a non district game.... You're right TruBlu..........the drums never stopped....and I saw 3-4 Rdale games also, but like you said...no big deal. Just again how differently "those people" are and think.....but the girls won it not the fans !

Thank you Respectall......Thank you......thats all I been trying to make these "rivernuts" understand, they're "too close to the fire to see the smoke" it is ridiculous the coverage they get from the warrior News Journal compared to other schools having good yrs in any sports....And there should be another paper, one that really represents the county, not just Murfreesboro as it is called...."the Murfreesboro paper" this is what happens when "big fish eat all the little fish" in business, you get biased coverage just for one area....And I dont live in that county but see that paper alot, so I just feel sorry for the other schools being shorted by the press....Of course, all you hear from them is look how Beech got press before the tourny by the Tennessean....and maybe so...but the Lady Warriors sent that message to the Tennessean from the ball field! Good job Girls!

You right, Einstein.....I'm just saying no matter how good the other schools do, they never get the press as Riverdale does......look at Oakland football... Smyrna's 2 time Back to Back State Championships....all other schools in the county dont get that press....and again, if you think they do.....you live on Warrior Drive! Yea, good post, everyone judges by strikeouts/speed....Rdale pitcher had neither and I didnt think she was a dominating factor either...but she was in her way! Hitting corners, offspeed pitches consistantly threw Beech off enough to "get er' done"....she did great....a will only be tougher as the yrs go by....

No, not a Rdale hater...actually just had a couple of family kids graduate from there......They are State champs, the girls deserve it! Ya'll just typical Warrior fans....like the paper...all about ya'll....as right now it should be...... Good Job Girls! Dont own one of those newfangled thangs, but I know a lady that does, shes always lost/late for the ball games, sometimes as much as a day late....but alot of people believe in em'.....
