Canes have looked good this year. They play as a team. Great talent on both sides of the ball and good depth. I have said all along.....this is the 2012 4A state championship team. Let's just take it one game at a time.

I thing Murphy Fair best described Milita as a ' heat seeking missle '. The boy is hard to catch when given a step ahead. 5a....watch out for him.

Or it could be the Husslin Tiger marching band...

Great run up the middle by Matt Milita tonite....he will shine in next two years.

Last district game of this 2012 season.....Canes vs. Tigers. Will they have fish sandwiches for sale? That could be the highlight at Howard this week.

They claim they do....we will find out in a couple weeks.

Cameron Carter, East Hamilton.... Very confident, always puts kick in end zone. Rated as one of the top kickers in the country. Will sign with somebody big soon. Great punter too.

Francisco Rodriquez, East Hamilton...big, aggressive and football smart. Another Jaquez Smith. Plays mostly defensive end but also FB in the wishbone and center. We will see him play on Saturdays somewhere

Logan Jackson, East Hamilton...big , strong, fast...probably the best, hard hitting, up the middle, back in the state, who runs behind his pads. Football smart. Over 1300 yds and only played in 16 of 28 quarters. A humble kid who is a team player and leader on and off the field.

Central has a good Coach and they will only get better. He has high stadnards and high expectations. Those that can't live with that should leave. The ones that tough it out will be all the better for it.

I'm not sure that RB can score on the Canes defense.

I'm with you Chatt, I don't think some of the teams in the western part of the state realize just how good East Hamilton is this year. I guess we should be content being unnoticed until deep in the playoffs.

Boom......looks like your knowledge of football is right on. I too think that the Canes are in the top 3 in 4a......we will go deep in the playoffs this year. This group of young men have worked hard to get to where they are....and will work just as hard to get to where they want to be.

Tough year with the Coaching change......lots of good kids in this class, Canes have always had a lot of respect for Lions........looking for a fun game on Friday night. Good to hear Tyler Phillips will be back in the game, he's a good kid.

Is it cause some of them schools don't ever have no seniors?

Oh, I forgot, our kicker # 15, will put it in the end zone every time, so, RB will get to start on their 20 a lot on Friday nite.

I liked the D line ...... I didn't even know they had a band.

Don't hate on the D line.....we liked them when the Canes played the Birds.

18 is gonna be hard to stop, especially when the RB defense has to worry about 12 throwing the ball to 24, 31, 22 or 25. They can't put everybody in the box cause Canes will throw the ball. And. When they spread it out 18 or 25 are gonna find a hole and move the ball on the ground. Canes won't underestimate RB....they will get on them early and let the younger boys play the 2nd half.

I agree. That O line has opened up holes all year for 18, but don't forget, to score points RB has to get by the D line and the Defensive backfield. They haven't given up much this year and there are several D guys that will put points on the board if given the chance. This Canes team is a iunit that works together and compliments each other.

Canes travel to Red Bank 10/19..... Any predictions on the outcome of this one? Offense, Defense, any particular standouts? What will each teams game plan be? Ought to be a good game.......
