I don't know if any of you noticed it Friday night about 10:00, if you looked up you would have seen cows flying.

This is also what caught my eye. I'm going with a toss up. Fewest mistakes. Easy way out but I just don't know and not able to read the teams.

Very well could be BUT there is a hugh difference between a quality player and other aspects of the total football team. I respect decision of coaches.

Two linemen out hurts the run game - I agree about the players listed, all are good athletes and young. The offense was built around Milan who is no longer playing so I look for a few new sets to fit offense for the players we have now. Trying to run offense with Milan in mind is not going to be successful with our present backs. It will be interesting to see what changes are made to suffice present personell. Owls will still have to pass more than they want to.

You are correct. This is the first I have heard about this. I just got in from work, that is why 99% of my posts are from 8:00 to 10:00 in the morning. If he has been dismissed from the team I am sure there is a good reason. I support the coaches decision 100%. One man does not make a team. I'll forward information as I get it.

Goofus, read my post - I said "in the PAST Westie did not travel well". I don't know about the last several years because Westie DROPPED US. When we did play and you came to SC, the stands would be hard pressed to be half full. When we traveled to Westie, our side would be full, standing around the fence and since you could not fill your side, SC fans would go across and fill your side. I don't need to check with other teams as to how Westie traveled in the past, we know. If that has changed, good for you.

Everyone is in limbo at this time not knowing districts. Until that is determined, not much to do except speculate.

TC would be a good gate, Westie, in past, did not travel well. SC would fill our side and then the overflow would fill the home side playing at Westie. I would definately think Alcoa and Cookeville are history.

Westie sure doesn't have a restaurant anything close to it. It is not "little" as you say also. I'm sure Gville could care less about the fullback, they are concerned about Watertown. What did you think about the LB playing with a torn ACL and was the leading tackler and the leading rusher playing basically on one leg with an injury. To the ordinary fan, that means a lot more.

Coach Samber must have not been a customer of Grocery Boy and did his shopping somewhere else. This is still bothering GB.

Agree - that was with 2/3 of the starters out with injuries.

LA has a very solid football team. Can't judge LA by the loss Friday night. They are well coached, more athletes on their team than any team in district. Outstanding receivers, a QB that does a steady job of getting the ball to the receivers, he runs the offense very good, VERY dangerous TB. Don't know that much about the line, but I am sure they are solid. SC has not had the same starting lineup the whole season due to injuries. Some of the injuries will return Friday night but it will take a while to get "back into the game" skills because they have been out so long. Carpenter, broken neck, returning will help the defense a lot. We will still have some players out but will be healthier than we have been all year. SC will have to play an error free game to win. No doubt LA is rated as the best team in the district. The game will be played in "The Hole" which will help. 60% chance of rain for Friday, if you believe the weathermen, Don't know who benefits from a wet field, both teams throw the ball. The game will be determined in the trenches. Whichever line plays the best on offense and defense wins the game. Lord help, there will be no more injuries for either team. LA have a safe trip to/from.
