Well, well Coach Kroger - looks like you know much more about the SC football team than those familiar with the program knows. This time last year we were 0-4 and now we are 2-2. Don't guess that matters though. We are much better better defensive and offensive than last year. I guess you did not know that Antwan's full name is Jose' Antwan Gonzales. English is his 2nd language. He is a translator for the Smith County Judical system. He also teaches Spanish on the side and does a real good job. Several of us posters have taken his class, Termite, Bigreid, OriginalSC3 and a few more have taken his class. Every so often, he would bring Mexican food that he cooked and it is unreal. The best I have ever eaten. He caters on occasion. Maybe that answers your question "can he speak a LITTLE Spanish.

We are starting to heal - still have a couple linemen out, knee and broken thumb. Possibly will have the knee injuy back by LA. Carpenter will be back. He was dressed and able to play against York if needed, but wasn't needed. We won't be 100% but will have most players back. We will need every player we have @ 110% effort to beat LA.

As long as the creek stays in its bank. A few years ago, the field was completely covered almost to the top of the fence surrounding the field. But yes, a very good facility and field.

I agree, LA is the team to beat. 2,3,and 4 are up in the air. If SC can beat York and then beat DC, that will settle some of the dust. EVERY game is important for all the teams this year.

This is kind of odd - but several years ago SC hired a head coach from Cannon County and it set SC football back 10 years. He was fired and Gary Rankin came in at SC and went 0-10 his first year. After that is history for SC. Men who played for the coach from Woodbury still talk about how unprepared they were and had no/ little interest in football because of the coach. Maybe someone can come in and get the interest in football again in Cannon County.
