You can point out specific technique all day, but I bet there is one aspect that each of these wrestlers hold in common, and that would be off-season work ethic. I have heard it said that you have to put in 10,000 hours to master anything in life. It would be hard to get that kind of mat time from your HighSchool coach with all the restrictions TSSAA puts on athletes during the dead periods, so they must put the burden on themselves to train, find the best camps and open mats with the highest level of competition available to hone their craft. I am sure each of these wrestlers put in the extra work!

You are probably right. Pay no attention to the great things that are going on in the mid-state. That is how we like it.

I was sad to see today come and so was Spike. He woke up this morning nearly in tears. When I asked him what was wrong he said, "I have had the most fun I have ever had, and I know that it's over today!" That is a big statement coming from a 9 year old who has been to Disney World! The All Results Camp has been outstanding! From a technique and life experience standpoint I could not have asked for more! Dustin will never forget the day he meet, and was taught by these legendary men of wrestling; Greg Strobel, Zeke Jones, Bobby Douglas and Rulon Gardner. John did a fanstastic job putting this together and the counselors have been outstanding with the kids. We will be returning every year! It is no wonder this camp has sustained for 12 years! For those of you that have youth and may be on the fence, the Coyote Wrestling Club and Team Clarksville will have several kids there between the ages of 7-12 and weights ranging from 50 lbs-80 lbs.

Trackwrestling shows scratch weight. No allowance.

It was outstanding. The wrestlers participated in a "mini" worship service and then the Simpson brothers put on a first class clinic. There was over 100 wrestlers in the room at all skill levels and ages. It was an outstanding experience and a great day for TN wrestling. Great job by all involved!

How does AL get two weigh-in locations and Clarksville can't get one????

We have a large club up here in Clarksville. The cut off is not until 1PM today. Several of us are on the fence because we can go to IN or IL and weigh in day of the tournament and not have to make two trips. I know that the Knuckleheads offered to do a weigh in, I don't know why they were shut down.

Team Clarksville did satelite weigh-ins for the majority of the TNAAU tournaments to include Top 100, Region, and State. You would think they would have one.

??? We are an hour or better here in Clarksville from any of the weigh in sites. With kids playing ball on Friday it is going to be hard to get our kids to a weigh in.
