JCM 21, Haywood County 20....Those days may be coming back again.

Actually what I meant, it would be like a coin toss...I think Milan could be the 4 seed, but my gut feeling is that Haywood would be there. The two teams I feel have an equal chance if that makes a ny sense.

particularly against Kentucky and Mississippi in girls basketball. I recently moved back to TN after living in Texas for the past 9 years. Grant it I've only seen b-ball in TN since Jan and the girls b-ball in West TN seem to be a notch below what I've seen in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. This is not a knock, I am originally from Memphis and love TN. Just want to see where everone else see girls b-ball stack up compared to close neighbors. So please no go back to Texas post.

It's early but my preseason regional bracket looks like this: 1. Gibson County vs. 4. Lexington 2. Westview vs. 3. Liberty 1. Bolivar vs. 4. Haywood 2. McNairy vs. 3. Obion You can easily pick Milan over Haywood in 13AA w/o an argument. You can argue any other teams in district 14AA at 3/4. I think Bolivar and McNairy are the only sure bets in 14AA. JCM hired a new coach who was pretty successful in Mississippi, lots of work to do there but they should improve in 14AA.

I think you are right, it could be argued that the 3rd place team in district 13AA would we be first in this district. Nevertheless it will be fun fun to watch.

I will say Liberty...sentimental pick is JCM.

There's a lot of talk about 13AA, are there any teams in this district ready to make a leap? Bolivar, Southside, McNairy Central.

Wow that is suprising, you would have thought that they would have named a solid coach by now. I just found out today. With Liberty dropping a classification, they would have been as close as a lock ever to make it to state.

Is it true that Dexter Williams will not be coaching next year, if so that will be a blow to a great team next year?

It's always tough to lose a loved one; but even more difficult for a child. My deepest prayers for the family.

I heard that basically the entire staff was gone and the team struggled last season. I think all the coaches are out.

Did they hire a new coach at Jackson Central Merry?
