I dont mind losing to the best team in any classification.If you have to lose why not to a F5.I love this team and this community and high school football and its just good to see we have a coach that gets the best out of his kids and lets not forget that shawn is not that old himself and he will only get better as a coach. It sounds to me like your putting all HV fans in the same category, but whatever. I think it's interesting that if HV runs their mouth and gets beat, they deserve it, but if Elizabethton does the same thing, it's classless. Oh well, I'm not going to even bother trying to argue anymore. This is the way things have been around here forever. Arguing about it is like talking to a brick wall. And I'll say again: It's not just HV that feels this way about Etown. It's not just elizabethton people that feels this way about happy valley either.Have you been to some of the basketball games when your fans are saying science hill rejects and other things that i cant repeat and i could go on and on but just let me say i have never said elizabethton fans are perfect no one is and thats just the way it is.I am going to church and do something that really matters.

First off HVWarriors don't put all betsy fans in the same category because i for one am not what you say an Elizabethton fan is and lets not talk about classless because i have friends from HV that say the same thing about your fans. I ate with some ALCOA people and they were good people and i told them they had alot to be proud of . They have a great team great coaches and good fans and i wish them the best . ALCOA beat us and showed us what ALCOA football is all about . ALCOA fans i want you to know that this Elizabethton fan has nothing but good things to say about your team . ALCOA is in a class all by there self and i am proud of our team and all of the hard work they have done to get this program back to were it use to be . What we have to remember is this just a game and when this life is over it don't matter how many football games you've one or how many championships you've one but how you've lived your life that counts . The man upstairs don't care about football but he does care about souls . That being said betsy keep your heads up and keep fighting you have alot to be proud of and ALCOA go get another gold ball you deserve it your team is men among boys .

They say Knoxville because no one anywhere else knows where Alcoa or that it is just 15 minutes away from Knoxville, they were saying that to prove that Fulmer let a great player in his backyard get away. JUST WHAT ONE PLAYER HAS DONE (who is he ?) i'm sure that was an individual accomplishment since you have no hardware to back up your alligator mouth. with that being said and although i can't stand alcoa, i'm pulling for the f5 in this one and predicting it to be ugly. alcoa wins 45-3. KY state champs Bell County said the exact same thing BEFORE the game......then said depth was huge factor in their loss AFTER the game..... Alcoa held a great CAK to 7 points and Loudon to 3 points. Including 4A state champions Bell County and #1 6A Maryville...............Alcoa is averaging 38 points a game and giving up only 8 points a game. How does Besty go about stopping Alcoa's running game? Can Besty have sub-stained drives and control the clock? BCsportsfan i am not worried about any facts about any other team or game . Friday nov 27 is a new game and what happened last week or last month means nothing but i will say this what ever happens this has been a great season for BETSY .

BETSY is used to playing teams with more players because we played up in classification for years so numbers don't bother BETSY. A few weeks ago when CAK played Betsy I truly enjoyed reading the comments that were posted before and after the game. But now I am disappointed about what I am reading concerning the game that was won by CAK 14-13. Here's my opinion, Cyclone fans put that game behind you, it's over and really counts for NOTHING against Alcoa. As far as the stadium, crowd, noise, etc. MY SON LOVED IT! He has told me several times that our game with Betsy was by far his favorite in his 3 years of playing Varsity football. A lot of talk about the defense and d-line of Betsy. I will not call any player out, all I am going to say is that Junior had a GOOD game playing against "one of the fastest d-line's in Tennessee" I am looking forward to coming to CAK next year . You folks seem to be nice people and you should have another good team .

Just wondering if anyone has seen ColumbiaBlueNScarlet. He is having a hard time getting that crow down. Maybe we can get barbs special sauce to help it go down easier.

ChaunceyGardiner i respect your posts on these boards and will be the first to tell you were going to have our hands full trying to beat Alcoa. They are the best team in 3A and will be until someone proves otherwise.

Obviously you were not at that game. All Betsy players started the game and were injured during the game. The only difference maker would have been the W/R who is also the kicker. They had a 44 yrd field goal at the end of the game for the win. However, to expect a HS player to routinely make 44 yrd feild goals with 10 seconds on the clock for the win is unrealistic. The back up QB actually gave CAK more trouble than the starter due to his ability to accurately throw. Everyone knew CAK's weakness on defense was the pass defense. Wth the exception of #23, they were exposed. To say that Betsy QB ks the most athletic, #2 @ CAK was very athletic and an excellent runner. Bottom line, Betsy had a chance to show how good they were #6 rank vs #5 rank at home and couldn't get it done ! I do believe Betsy is as good as CAK and Loudon, but to dismiss Betsy's loss as a fluke due to injuries is disrespectfull. I would invite Betsy to join the district with CAK,Loudon, and Alcoa and see how well they do. It takes its toll on you year after year knowing you may win a state championship if you could just get out of your district. Alcoa has made both teams get better but they are not at Alcoa's level yet nor is Betsy. No one on Betsy team is like Toney, or Robinson. May be best 2 3a players in the state. Keep talking trash and disrespecting the toughest district in 3a, and come live in their shoes for a season. Nobody is disrespecting your district but there is nothing wrong with enjoying our season and talking about disrespect we have had our share of it.I heard it from AE fans all week but at least BETSY shut them up.

Believe me were not cocky but this team just keeps proving everyone wrong and they finally beat that K-TOWN team and i might remind you when we played CAK our QB and NO 14 went out in that game not to mention a missed XP and 2 missed field goals.Were proud of you BETSY. RDT
