I am a betsy fan but i am pulling for tn high all the way. When betsy has there bye week some of us are coming to watch the vikings play.Just hope its at tn high.The castle is an awsome place to watch a game.

Well I'm a Roan Mt guy and I'm very impressed with the Cyclones. Coach has done a great job and I expect it to get better as time goes on. I pull for ALL our local teams and I hope you guys go deep in the playoffs. My kid used to play baseball in Elizabethton and some of the Witten boys officiated, they were great for the kids and did an outstanding job. Can't leave out Billy Etter. The whole bunch was great for all the kids. I'm a fan. Shoot, I even keep up with Jason. Just wish he wasn't a Cowboy. I bet sullivan norths defense is know were near greeneville defense.

.Betsy defense against the run is alot better than last year just ask greeneville they tried to run the ball most of the night and you see what happened.North better have a passing game or there in trouble and you can bet betsy want overlook north. in all fairness grassman, GreenEVILle tried to run 1 play all night. If North throws more than 1 back at your line you might have a problem...but i doubt it. Good Luck and play safe. I still say if north cant throw the ball there in trouble we have to many skilled players on defense.I am not saying north is a bad team but they have not played the competition like betsy has just look at there schedule.

Barb once again i have to agree with you.As fans we can sit and complain all we want but the fact is its a game and things dont always go like we think they should.Greeneville has a great team and it will be a good season for the greene devils.

If THS plays like they have the last two games they will win this game.

Betsy is going to have one of those purty ruggs real soon.

Greeneville#1 do you remember your post on the West Greene board after their loss to Grainger? Sounds a little quite on your board after Elizabethton skunked you all last night. Well, except for blaming the coach and the officials for the loss. Not so much fun when it's you, is it? That seems to be happening on alot of these threads but all is good in betsy land.

I'm not worried about whether G'ville fans learned their lesson. I hope G'ville's coach learned his lesson. Everyone at the game, (except the coach, apparently), knew by the middle of the first quarter, that we couldn't run up the middle, but did he try anything different. NOooo, not until the last min. and a half, and it worked. Imagine that. When almost every play centered around handing the ball to BJ, it didn't take a rocket scientist to figure out where the ball was going. Don't get me wrong, I love BJ, and he's a great athlete, but dude! And the coach actually commented to the press, that this was his plan... Wow? Our defense was absolutely worn out. Our coach needs to realize that one of the points to having a second string, is to run subs in and out on an individual basis, not just dump the whole string in when we get way ahead. That way, our boys have something left at the end, and our second string might actually learn something about playing football. Neat concept, huh? While we had some "terrible" calls against us, the loss to Betsy is on the coach's head, and our boys did all they were allowed to do. Heads up high boys! The other "huge" problem that G'ville MUST overcome, is their almost total lack of pass coverage. I don't know if that's because the coach hasn't taught them how that's supposed to be done, or the players just aren't doing their jobs. Either way, if they don't fix it, then South Greene may just kick G'ville's hind parts. the run was extremely one dimensional without chaz story....pass coverage was a bit hampered by the fact that Church was wearing a cast..... the defense was just flat....no amount of subbing would fix that. Every team has to deal with injures just part of the game .

BatmanDB that is a great attidude to have and i know were your coming from after dave rider left betsy we have had some horrible seasons but i have been there to support my team no matter what and we have to understand this is a game played by kids and we need to understand that sometimes things dont go the way we like them but we need to support the kids and coaches no matter what happens.BatmanDB i respect your comments on these threads and i hope the best for the indians.

The reasons you didn't score more were turn-overs (you can call them mistakes but we will credit good defense), Greeneville's gutsy goal-line stand and penalties. How many times was Betsy in the red zone???? This was a case of 1 team that couldn't get it going and another that couldn't finish. Lets hope both of our teams can put together complete games before the play-offs.They will these to teams will make deep runs in the playoffs.Betsy continues to improve every week.Good luck the rest of this year.

Greeneville started last year very much the same as this year... Got SPANKED by both Jeff County and Sullivan South. Entered conference play 1-2 and ran the conference....a much stronger conference. This Greeneville D has more size and speed than last year. Just need Hall and Church to shake off the rust and the cast and Story to get his wheels back under him. Greeneville's run would have been more effective with Chaz and without Rollins, the o-line had a REALLY big hole in it...Anyone know when Brock gets that darn cast off? Anyway coach, its gonna take more than ticked off rebels to overcome the size difference at the line. Greeneville by 2 TD's. I have to agree with barb on this one there is no way south greene can match up with the devils.Barb good luck the rest of the year greeneville has a good team you should go deep in the playoffs.

Jones i promise you betsy is as good as south and we will be ready to play greenville.Greenville has a great team and i cant wait till next friday should be a great game good luck to both teams. I'm gonna save this one for future reference....as good as South.....promise? If South had been 100% they would have slapped us naked and slapped us for being naked...of course we were down 2 major pieces of our D so who knows.I told you barb that betsy is the real deal and now you have to agree because we just shut down your powerfull offense. I have never said Greeneville had a powerful offense......I just wish our powerful defense had shown up. I don't have to agree that you are as good as South...they put up more than 10 on our D playing with heavy hearts. But since you guys don't have them on the schedule, we will never know..... We should have scored alot more we are still making a few mistakes on offense but thats whats great about this team we keep getting better.Betsy had over 350yds to greene devils 135 so the score could have been more but a win is a win and betsy is 4-0. Greenville lost the game with run run run punt... Need more passing... But ggreenville has some awesome Defense...Offense isnt the best but we will go deep deep deep in the playoffs... Your defense is good but betsy is as good as greeneville and we proved it tonight.

His balls have no hangtime at all...Greenevilles special teams is pretty awesome... But i doubt tenn. is lookin at him if he cant make those field goals...wide left??? Dude you kill me you have talked for 2 weeks about how good your greenedevils are but not one time have you said anything good about betsy but we both know now who the better team is so how about giving betsy a little credit.

Hey greeneville#1 you talked about how great your kicking game is well how about taylor hodge of betsy he done an outstanding job and is one of or not the best athletes we have.I heard tenn is looking at him can anyone confirm this.
