If you have to go on the road to South Greene you might as well just chalk it down as a loss. Especially in a sub-state game. Hampton has been in this situation before. Northview not so much.

And South Greene will beat Hampton in the regional championship but in a close fashion.

I believe if he wants it it's his. From what i am hearing Unaka has the best feeder program in the county relating to girls basketball. So it's not as big as risk as most people would think.

Chambers will stay at Cloudland after what Unaka did to him. I highly doubt he will go back to the same mess he had to go through before.

I can count on both hands a numerous amount of assistants in this area that would be a better hire than Brown. Sometimes as the AD you have to treat it as a slower process than being quick to pull the trigger so soon. I think this is going to be one of those type of decisions they deeply regret in the long run.

Just hire somebody and get it over with is what I'm sure the administration is thinking. But to be honest I don't know who would want to take that job anyway. Is there any familiar names that even Applied.

Mark it down pioneer, I will go on record and say Elizabethton beats west view by 10 or more. And wins the championship by 8 to 15. Defensively they are the best in AA and offensively they are the most balanced,Especially on their side of the bracket. The only way I could see Creekwood giving Elizabethton a problem is their size and length in their zone. But as far as player for player as a whole Elizabethton is just to deep off the bench and their ability to get stops and score the basketball is heads above everyone else.

This is the weakest I have seen the state tournament for AA in a while. Elizabethton will beat Westview by double digits, And win the championship game by no more than 13.

Hampton defeated happy valley tonight by about 18. Seems like happy valley has hitten a wall.

I have noticed they lately they have beat some pretty good teams. Are those scores right? I thought they was supposed to be a very bad team? Any information please.

If Tarter plays like she is capable of playing than I would go Science Hill by 15.But there were some games I watched her play in last year where she just coasted about the whole game.Her and Gabby have to be very officiant in about every game they play this year in order for them to be effective.Both Elizabethton and Science Hill's bread and butter is making you turn the ball over and scoring in transition. If Elizabethton trys to run with Science Hill I think it could be a long night for the cyclones.Elizabethon likes to make you turn it over out of a 2-2-1 and I just dont see them keeping Tarter in check on the press.Gabby IMO is one of the top post players in East Tennessee so that could be a big problem on the inside for Elizabethton. If I was guessing Elizabethton will go 2-2-1 and drop back into a 2-3 zone and make Science Hill beat them from the outside and take away the drive. Tarter and Lyons is back for sure and maybe Karen Kemps daughter.Elizabethton and Science hill will be sorta semilar when it comes to personel. Science Hill has 2 or 3 pretty talented players and Elizabethton has 2 or 3 pretty good players. The big key is who can develope the most depth who can help them down the road? You have to think last year everyone was probably counting Elizabethton out when they lost their point guard earlier in the season and this was before the two twins started playing their best basketball they still found ways to win just for the fact players off the bench stepped up you had a 4 and 5 that could step out and shoot the three,rebound the basketball and knock down mid-range jump shots.And they was skilled and deep enough without her to where they still made it to the semi-finals of the state tournament. This year both teams are kinda different. Neither one of these teams is deep enough with veteran talent to where someone like a Tarter or a Lyons or Both Merosite get's injured and you have the type of team losing even one of those players off each team will you be effective. Sure you might win a couple games your expected to win without them but you wont beat the type of teams you need to beat to get down to Murfreesboro Like a Morristown West,Fulton,Cak,Alcoa,Grainger County. Thats why i think which ever team developes the most depth and can develope 2 or 3 other kids within their starting 5 will have the better chance of winning.

Considering South Greene has done lost to Tri-cities Christian and barely escaped a weak North Greene team I am going to agree with Crazyness and say that spot is up for grabs.My bet Is either on Cosby or Unaka.

we play them so I can tell you a little bit about them.Pitcher is overall average.Fastball is from 56 to 58 hits her spots pretty well but can get wild. decent change-up doesn't throw it a lot for strikes,rise ball Is fair.There bread and butter is hitting and they are very fundamental defensively rarely make mistakes in the field.They hit the ball hard 1-9 and when I say hard they hit it on the nose.U better haver a very dominant pitcher and u better be able to score runs against them.
