OK...Got a question for you Milan/Huntingdon supporters? Where is this one going to be played? One factor that may make a difference, if it happens, rain coming in, if so, the running game will favor Huntingdon, now, in the same aspect, if no rain, the passing game can favor Milan...either way, this one could go either way, don't be suprised if you don't see overtime in this one.....

OK....I realize that Milan, Lipscomb, and Tyner all have top notch programs, but there is a team that may just sneak up on all ....ready for this, "Huntingdon Mustangs"...yes, you heard right, beware of this bunch, good size, depth at every position, and have a freshman running back that is going to be one of the best to come out of W. Tn, providing he stays healthly...mark it down, could be the cinderella team....

This is not the same Wetview team as in the past, believe you me, as I was part of the officiating crew last friday, and they obviously must be young, as the QB position was very weak...could be a long yr....

You got it...ever think of maybe it's time for Dyersburg to revaluate their boys and girls programs, and the coaching staffs....it's not like they don't have the talent...hmmmm...does make one wonder

I know this is od, but do any of you know of any schools that would like to schedule Caruthersvill High in boys basketball for the 2003-04 season, they are in dire need of at least 2 to 3 more home games and are interested in any teams in west tennessee that will come to their place and they will return the next yr...just let me know...

Way too many distractions for this team....it's a shame, but it will not get better....they miss their coach, and if you could ask them, they would tell you so...not taking anything away from the assistant, but he's under the microscope for sure

Ryan Scott is still on UT's list, but I think it's a problem with the grades that is holding him up, but then again, they have already signed 2 all-everyting receivers, but he will play somewhere, but needs to put on a little weight to play at the D-1 level

Ingle Martin will be the starting QB at UF...ck out GatorSports.Com and you can catch up on most everything about the Gators, not that I am a Florida Fan, but it appears that he has the inside track...knows more about their system...They are going to have a problem keeping all those QB's happy, and don't be suprised if at least one of them transfer, and it appears it could be Justin Midgett..sports beat writer for the Gainsville Sun has made comment that Midgett will entertain trips to at least two other schools and Tennessee is one of them...cross your fingers, as we need the help...I just wish the younger Leake had the class of his older brother

Talking about a quality tournament, well, if you didn't make the one in Newbern, then you wasted your time at any of the area other tournaments, unless you had one of your own playing in those tourn....Giles Co. has probably the best individual player that I have seen in a while..coach at Giles Co. says he's just a sophomore, at around 6'5" and can move, understand, he is leaving after this yr and headed for Oak Hill Academy in Va. and we all know the quality of that nation wide high school program, again, that's the caliber of talent this tournament has brought to west tennessee and if you love good basketball, then make this one next yr...

I believe they beat Covington and Memphis Melrose...

Is not enough is enough??? This onraging battle between 2 schools in the same county has gotten way out of hand..It's a shame that sporting events as this have taken priority over what's suppose to be building character...what kind of message does this send to the players in any sport...there is no place for it...oh, by the way, look for coach Hopkins to withdraw his resignation and for a long haul in court over this situation..afterall Brentwood Academy did worse and won their court battle...then this would be the end of TSSAA's authority, you think????
