My bad on the math, not sure what I was thinking there. But there you go, being a typical smarta-- ref. Never claimed to be a math wiz buddy! You must be a spelling bee champ.

There are a lot of good officials and most try to do the very best they can. And I understand mistakes are going to be made. But flat out lied to and treated like crap by an official? Again, if I do those things, the official turns me in to the TSSAA and I get fined and/or kicked out of the game. And lets be honest, the head of an association can't nor does he do crap about bad officiating. As far as not paying your expenses, you make 60-70 bucks a game and you all ride together if it's a long road trip. $600.00-$700.00a year(not counting 9th grade games) easily pays your expenses.

Coaches answer to the TSSAA. We can get fined. Who do the refs answer to? Who are they accountable to? NOBODY! I've had several refs through the years just flat out lie about calls and say things to me or other coaches that I would have gotten kicked out of the game for. They need to be held accountable to someone other than the head of their association.(What are they going to do?)

That explains his shortcomings in that area.

Congrats to you Coach, very well deserved!! Show me how to win one of those championships and I'll show you how to catch smallmouth bass.

Coach Watson will do a super job. Just give him and his staff some time to get a little talent. Very good football coaches!!

I know you have pride and I was surprised to see you say those things. I'm not around the program at all but I do know for a fact that Coach Thomas is an excellent coach and he will get things turned around.

Tell us chs4life, when did # 2 give any cheap shots? You need to be specific. He is a physical player and he loves to hit. I don't recall any illegal hits or cheap shots durring the Coffee Co. game.

Semperfiblue, FC still has Cookeville left to play, I wouldn't count the Cavs out just yet. They are a good football team. They must also beat Warren County, so there is still a lot of football left to be played.

het apsugov7- there are NO confederate flags or soldiers at any FC sporting events. The flags the school own are navy blue with a gray and red FC on them, so don't give us that crap!
