There is one way to settle all of this.......Why don't Hixson and Soddy schedule Hendersonville to a match. They are willing to drive to Chatt. Let's see who is the best. No need to wait for the state.

I believe Hendersonville's girls team could beat most boys team. They are really strong this year. Who can beat them?

The best bowler in the jamboree was from Hendersonville with a 689 series and averaged 229 per game. Hendersonville will play anyone at anytime anywhere.... Riverdale, Lexington and especially Symrna. Just pick-up the phone and call Hendersonville's coach. One call does it all.

When is the Hendersonville/Smyrna Match?

I am looking forward to this "hard hitting game". I havn't seen a hard hitting game at Gordonsville in years.

I am from District 8 A and I think District 8 A will not win a game next week in the region girls or boys.

For Gordonsville to win, they must control the line of scrimmage, and Dusty Ray must have a game of a life-time. South Pittsburgh's offense must stay off of the field, and Gordonsville will need to score a lot of points. I remember when an overconfident South Pittsburg team (Eddie Moore ...Etc) came to Trousdale County in the playoffs and got sent home with a loss. In the playoffs, you can't over look anybody. If Sp wins, I hope they beat Boyd by 50!

Dusty Ray can do more than Wooden. He can play running back, receiver or quaterback and be all state at any one of those positions. He is a lot like Mark Byrd. Wooden is an excellent running back, but Dusty brings more to the table. GO DUSTY RAY!

The boys on Clay County team need to go find the men that played for Celina during the mid 80's. They could teach you a thing or two about football. It amazes me how far football in Clay Co. has dropped.

Now back to the Watertown-Gordonsville game. Watertown will come out trying to run the ball setting up the pass. Gordonsville must match Watertown's intensity especially in the first quater and limit their turnovers to win. A major factor will be if Gordonsville's Tarpley plays (#22).
