  1. Forrest can also brag of having one of its graduates become a Rhodes scholar. Not too many small public schools can say the same.
  2. How about the Rutherford County Schools? Students can go to any school in the county. No problem now, but if the Legend takes over at Eagleville, then there will be many transfers into that school I think. /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />
  3. Don't be giving Forrest ideas:excl: They might go for it.
  4. I had to look up Forrest's schedule, but I believe that Nashville Christian is their h:Dmecoming game this year.
  5. Looking forward to seeing the new facility from the bleachers. How wonderful for Chapel Hill and the Rocket fans. You do things right! /flower.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":flower:" border="0" alt="flower.gif" />
  6. I'm sure of this one, but feel that Coach Parker will show class and "pull the big horses" early. Community will get there eventually. How many remember the days when Cascade was everyones homecoming game? /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />
  7. Looking at this without being involved, it looks as if he made his decision with all of the facts and now must live with it. I am not saying that I agree or disagree but that he had information before he chose to transfer.
  8. Must I say: Collinwood, Huntland, Moore Co., Mt. Pleasant, Wayne Co. (These are in alphabetical order before anyone starts yelling.) You have beat one team in the region and one team in its first year. Take them one game at a time please and don't look too far ahead.
  9. It's been Forrest at least fifty years, probably more.
  10. Some teams have "been there" before and some teams haven't. The behavior of the fans seems to reflect which is which. Most football fans recognize talent on the field, and find players, coaches, and fans that spend their time telling everyone how good they are, need to convince themselves. Respect is earned. That is true on and off the field. Just an observation.
  11. Coach Hill has not been with the Forrest baseball program since 1997 or 1998.
  12. Did they get beat by Cascade as well? Guess they need to stick to the double A schools. The single A schools seem to be getting to them.
  13. Let's hope that both are at the state tournaments. What are you suggesting? Even though there are thirty-five players for MC, is the talent level down? Just some observations: 1. Lewisburg and Chapel Hill have always been blessed with talent. 2. The eight tournament format makes is somewhat easier to get there. 3. Single A has more "hard working" teams from the private level.
