I hate to say it but the Canes are looking at 2-3 seasons of losing, before hatcher can figure out everyone else. Smith had an advantage, Seals had been there and knew what type of teams everyone had in the league, and was able to help keep the scoring down. Who knows the powers around that place might let the new coach schedule alot of single A and double A games to help his wins, that is what has been going on in the other sports. Hatcher is going to have to find a few coaches to help him because I hear that no one is leaving, and the house is full of retired and fed up coaches. So what is his staff going to look like anyone know?

What has transpired is typical Morristown East and hamblen county mentality. They allow young and enthusiastic coaches to work like a dog and put alot on them and when it is time for the coachess to get rewarded with an opportunity they pass them over for an outsider. They are not looking at the picture long term. The last two coaches were quick fixes and in all honesty, I do not see Johnson as the problem this time. There were too many people wanting a piece of the glory and some of them should have stayed at home. I am saying the committee was a little too large. The rumor is from Hatcher's past you have not seen anything from Seals like you are going to see from this coach. Some one did not do their background check.

I hate to see the decision was taken away from the coaches. I believe if you are trying to build a program, you must first start with discpline. So rules are there to be enforced not overlooked, by higher powers. Is the bottom line just to win, what are we teaching the kids. As long as you win it is ok. How does it look on the coaches when their decisions are overturned. That is just one person's opinion.

From what I have heard Pain is out for good. He worked to hard at East and was never given the chance. He will never go back into coaching.

What about one of Blair's Asst's, they have been there do they have a chance. Would the admin. look at a long time assistant to do the job. Would any assistant or JV coach have a chance at this postion. I have seen the IMAC assistants and there are some that could do the job.

What is Ronnie Davis's record as a girls coach, he has won over 600 games I believe.
