  1. Gotta love the anonymous posters... You know you have no idea what you're talking about when you play identity hiding games.
  2. Don't see many Bearden people complaining about the outcome of the game, only throwing out opinions of how it went, why things happened the way they did... Farragut won and no one seems to have a problem with that
  3. Where was this rule when Farragut needed it the last two years?? Seems good luck for Bearden that when they don't have the upper hand they can still sneak in. Whatever, sounds good to me.
  4. If you're trying to snipe someone from a bell tower, would you rather the bullet take 3.6 seconds or 3.1 seconds to reach the target?
  5. The offsides call that ended up in the net could have gone either way... the one that went over the goal was clearly onsides. Either way didn't effect the outcome of the game... and for anyone who wasn't there, 2-1, the score after 85 minutes, more accurately reflects the closeness of the game. What was the ref waiting on to call the game??
  6. That's awesome that they moved the game, now I can be there to watch it... GO DAWGS!!
  7. 1:54-800, 3:58-1500 Oh wait, do you mean freshman in high school??

As far as Elam goes, he is a very good keeper. The only reason people may think he wasn't is because he has been playing behind Crunk, a 4 year starter on a very good Bearden program. Crunk's junior year he won state playing the last 4 games with a broken wrist, and went undefeated his senior year to win state again, going on the the All Star game in Charleston where he was named the MVP of the game, shutting out some of the best forwards in the nation for the half he played. Someone said Elam is more athletic than Crunk, I'd have to say no Crunk is a better all around athlete, he's good at everything. Crunk also keeps his head in the game much better than Elam does, I've seen Elam snap a number of times in practices and games when things haven't been going his way. However, I suspect good things for Elam this year and the Bearden squad, despite them losing 3 of 4 starting defenders. And, sorry for all the random talk, this is the first time I've read this very large thread... but what is all this talk about Kingston being good? Who? And are they really using indoor as an example of their "greatness"? ha, that's funny.

Zac Brown's my boy, I played competitive with him in middle school and a little bit in high school... I know he's always been huge, but early on he had agility and aggressiveness problems, but from what I hear he's definitely worked on that and gotten a lot better. Haven't seen him play in a while, but definitely a big guy to cover the goal and from what I hear very good these days. He lives in Athens, TN and used to drive about an hour each way to practice in Knoxville. That's crazy!
  10. Don't know how the game went exactly, would love to hear about it, but... DAWGS WIN!!! Oh well Blount, better luck next year.
  11. Who cares? Bearden Who cares? Who cares? Who cares? Who cares?
  12. I say we quit with all the Cruze bs cause that's all it has turned into by now. Props to Dickenson and White... I shot around with Dickenson a little last year, would have never expected the success he's been having
  13. Am I reading this right? Bearden by 39, 94-55?? Wow, way to go Dawgs!! Any telling of how the game, although somewhat obvious, went would be great... peace
  14. True that... over and out
  15. Just posting my opinion, as long as it may be. If you can't read that much at one time, I might suggest starting with those illustrative classics, they only have words on every other page, makes it easier. I did those as a child and look at me now! And about Cruze being more than willing to talk... what high school kid do you know that would not be willing to talk to the press, be it for something good or bad? Come on old folks, remember back when you were a kid, every time you saw that camera you were jumping to get on it, am I right? Last thing, I promise, don't get impatient -- Burgess said he approached Blevins at a funeral; now that's professional. That should be the first sign of his character. Peace...
