We have never given a freshman award. We have only had all district for 6 years.

In a game between Pickett Co. and Clay Co. the first batter of the game was hit by a pitch in the jaw. This breaking his jaw in 2 places. When the trainer got to the batter he was spitting out blood and then threw his helment down in anger and pain. The umpire then ejected him from the game for throwing his helment. The player is out for the season anyway but the umpire could have understood a little bit.

I never said I was happy we lost the tournament last year. I would gladley host it ever year because that means we've won it the year before. But thats not how it turned out last year. The relief part is I don't have to do alot of work or call 3 or 4 other times to give rain updates.

Coaches meeting wednesday to determine all that.

To be honest. It's big relief for me to let someone else host. That way I can concentrate on baseball instead of the other 500 things going on. maybe the excitement in RBS will bring alot of people out and the tournament will break even. It never has in Monterey.

I think so however not sure. I not sure but I think if Pickett wins out and Monterey beats both Clay and RBS there will be a 4 way tie for first all at 7-3

The tie breakers are : 1, head to head 2. runs allowwed head to head 3. runs allowed in the district

I've been impressed with Matt since he was in eighth grade. He gives you guys agood chance everytime he pitches. Monterey is 5-2 in the dist. with games against Clay,RBS, and Pickett. I think the district is more even than it ever has been.
