Mr Kelly, I was told by a retired metro teacher that you all will always be good as well as Pearl Cohn because you all have 2 months of open recruitment of students. Is this true? so you guys have the pick of the litter! Was i told wrong? Mac!

The 10th Annual Kenwood Classic is this Saturday, April 28th. THe start times for this are 930 for all Field Events and running Prelims. There will be a Coaches meeting at 900 pm around the finish line. You must have your entries in by 1100pm central time on April 24th (that's today). Kelly, oops i mean footballfan, The rezoning is done and the only school affected will be NE! But according to the rezone plan, our area here at Kenwood will not be affected. Oh well. And yes when they built Kenwood, NW and NE were affected. When they built Rossview it affect Chs, NE and Kenwood! Check it out! Mac!

For all of those who are in "THE KNOW", the school will be on peachers mill road between 101 and tiny town. To be honest with all of you, the school is way closer to Kenwood than any other school. In fact where they are gonna build,it is on a hill, you will be able to see Kenwood HS. TO me this does not make sense. NE is overcrowded and new houses are going up quickly in this part of town, but why not build a new school on the other side of town as well? Sango area is growing just as fast. Just another way to spread all the talent out. Most of the schools in Clarksville can grow, because of the way they are zoned, except one and that is Kenwood. Yes I teach there, but if you look at the zoning, Kenwood is totally LANDLOCKED. Hope this clears things up for those of you who are IN THE KNOW! MAC!

Who won the tourney and how did Kenwood wrestlers look? Any results on them?

So Chris, who are the front runners for the Head Coaching job there at NW? I can tell you this, I am not applying! Why you ask? Because i do not think there will be teaching spots in the building for the other coaches and that is the only way it will work. There is loads of talent over there, but you have to have discipline in the classroom before you will ever have it on the field. That is just my philosophy! I am content to be here at Kenwood for at least one more year, then i think i will move to East Tennessee to teach and Coach my last years!

So Chris, is Ralph Thompson a GOOD friend of yours? Just needing to know that, because I was told you "GAVE" tapes to Maplewood last year you had on us for the playoff game. Now is that what a region TEAM should do especially if you are in the same city? Don't try and tell me you did not, as the Defensive Coordinator, whom I am a friend with, told me at a BB game last year! Also Chris, the reason why some teams dont like NW is to me for the following reasons: !, you were beating us 43-6 and then on side kicked on us, 2) you were beating Springfield pretty bad and left the starters in the pat the stats, 3) you upset on our field last year by the pine trees, 4) you ran up the scores on people for almost 2 years, 5) you traded films with the enemy from another region. Need I say more. These are things people remember, CHRIS! Mac!

Take nothing away from Rossview as their defense played their butts off. But Mt Juliet threw a bunch of INT's and had fumbles, and most teams cannot overcome these obstacles. They also missed makeable FG tries. Mt Juliet is hungry and looking for a win and Kenwood needs to Bring the A game for 4 full quarters this week.! Mt Juliet is very talented and physical!

I pick Clarksville by 27! this is my opinion!

And why do you say this Wingman10? Kenwood is not overlooking anyone! From here on out, each team in the region will play for the Region Crown. Portland is a good young team who runs the ball very well in the Wing T. Kenwood will have to be on their toes to keep Protland at bay and off the scoreboard! Good Luck to both teams Friday night! It is Homecoming for the Panthers and Kenwood would love to spoil it for them!

Ne is a good young football team that has lots of weapons at all the skill positions. It will be a wet field tonight as it has been raining most of the day in Clarksville. Hopefully the rain will subside and it will be a great game. All games come down to this... Play great Defense, control the ball with no turnovers and win the battle of the special teams! Do that and any team can win on friday night! Good luck to both teams!

Prophet, IT WAS A GOOD GAME! HC had around 270 yards of offense but only 7 points to show for it, until 3 late turnovers from Kenwood led to 10 points. They gained a little over 300 yards in total offense from my calculations. Got to say a lot about a defense that will bend but most of the time doesn't break! What is your opinion?

Outstanding talent on both sides here. Henry Co is a better more well rounded football team than they were last year. Kenwood will have to play a near perfect game to win it! #'2 1,2,3,5,6,38 and 58 are truely gifted players who play with a lot of enthusiasm. Looke forward to watching the game!
