It just sounds like sore losing to me. If she was out the ump would have called her out and let's see he called her safe so therefore the run scores Forrest wins and Richland loses. Oh well, get over it. And i don't like to put down anyone but i've never seen so much whining somebody should change Richland's diaper they are getting a little cranky.

This is why Richland players and fans sat on the Forrest side at Culleoka Saturday during the game and talked about our players, coaches, and fans. I think R ichalnd does have a good team and great players but sometimes their attitudes (players coaches and fans) are terrible. Guess we'll see what comes out of Mondays game

I think drug testing should be done more than it is. It should test for marijauna, cocaine, steroids, and prescription pain killers. There is gonna be one huge problem though when then majority of the players fail the test. Who's gonna play. Face it, eventhough there are many players who don't use drugs there are probably more that do. There are probably more doing it than parents will admit to. Since parents won't ever admit their child has a problem. Drug testing is not going to do anything but make parents angry when they find out their child has been smoking pot, then they will get mad at the school for picking on their kid. Conclusion, the players and coaches already know who is doing it and unless it is obvious steroid use or there are criminal charges involved leave the kids alone unless you are prepared to punish everyone that fails the test.

Congratulations to these girls. I know their family and friends are proud of them. Good luck on your upcoming season. I am sure I will be seeing you all play at Columbia State.

Forrest 2, Culleoka 0 In 24 innings over 3 games Forrest has scored 4 runs, Culleoka 0 Rockets may stumble in a very tough district, but they are playing really well. Rocket pitcher Debbie Zimmerle sparkled again today facing only 2 over the minimum.

Forrest vs. Richland was rained out Mon. Played Tues. at 5:30 Forrest 6-Richland 0 Edwards pitched first 4 innings,gave up 4 runs Johnson pitched the last 2, gave up 2 runs Forrest pitcher Debbie Zimmerle was superb

i won't go into much detail but their coach is a poor loser and their girls are too.

It was a very good game except for the poor sportsmanship from the richland players and coach.

She is a good coach I think two consecutive trips to the state tourny shows it. I know sometimes she can be hard on her players and sometimes they need it to get them going, but she also needs to consider this is freakin high school softball and it is suppose to be fun, right? Her players have feelings and this needs to be recognized. It is one thing to try and boost morale, but when you cross the line and your players feel like they are worthless then they should not be out there and she should not be either. It may have been her intention to fire up her team but its not what happened. These girls, to my understanding, were on the field crying. This "IN MY OPINION" crosses the line. I hope things can come together for these girls and their coaches. I followed this team for two years going on three and I have never seen it this bad. My last thought and OPINION is if nobody is having fun then GO HOME!!!

Does anyone know who pitched for Richland?

Oh you Davidson Academy people kill me, I guess you are going to say the Forrest fans are the reason the Lady Bears couldn't hit the ball. Did you ever think they just couldn't hit Ann Marie as good as they hit everyone else.You know it's a shame you win and you still complain. I was sitting in that group of fans and they didn't yell "SWING" every time they cheered for their team reguardless if they were painted blue or not. They also stood up and clapped for the coaches and players of Davidson Academy, We are not all stupid rednecks like you think. Personally I beleive we should have been playing Goodpasture since they were, in my opinion, a better team. I'm not saying DA wasn't good they were and they showed it but don't go complaining about things that are irrelevant even after you win. I can't stand people who are ungreatful. As for the Lady Rockets, great job you've made alot of your followers very proud, and I hope to follow you back next season. Oh yeah, let's not get started on Cheatham.LOL

I would have to say Leigh Beasley from Forrest. She is one of many outstanding players on the team. She has spent many hours training at Club K. She had two doubles and an RBI in the Distric 11A Championship game against Richland. Leigh also has great leadership skills and communicates very well with the other players. Not to mention she's only a sophmore and has two more years to help this team.
