  1. Due to Wilson Central's loss yesterday to Hendersonville, Lavergne will host the play-in game today, weather permitting. If they are unable to get the game in today, then the tournament gets backed up one day.
  2. Who pitched for Hendersonville? Gallatin plays at Hendersonville on Friday, 4/28.
  3. I think you mean Hendersonville over Beech. The score was 5 - 2 when I left in the bottom of the 6th, however, I don't know the final score.
  4. What were some of the latest results (4/24) and records going into the last two weeks of district play? Which games are coming up this week?
  5. What do you think the problem is & what will it take to "get it going"?
  6. Any scores / details for Beech-Smyrna and Smyrna-Hendersonville games for Friday & Saturday?
  7. []Im really not sure why Gallatin didnt ask Lebanon to come over to their place and play if their field was playable...kinda odd to me... Gallatin was told that Lebanon had a makeup game with Mt. Juliet, so they were cancelling / rescheduling the Gallatin game. Gallatin then contacted some other schools that had an open date and found Blackman.
  8. Gallatin won over Blackman, 9-4.
  9. A player forgotten out of Mt. Juliet is Tim Bryant, Class of 1980. Highly recruited by SEC schools, esp. UT, but ended up at Vanderbilt. Started at LB as a true freshman, but a shoulder injury (if I recall) his sophmore year ended his college career. A headhunter on the field, could hit like no other.
  10. The thoughts and prayers of Gallatin baseball are with Jackie and his team.
  11. Coach Duke is the Athletic Director at GHS.
  12. The Smyrna win over Gallatin was a makeup game played Saturday night. Last night (4/11), Gallatin wins at Lavergne, 4-1.

    9-AAA Saturday

Gallatin fought back to win over Smyrna 11-7 in eight innings. Alot of offense by both teams; rollercoaster ride of emotions.
