Deke Rivers, first of all you should get all your facts right before coming on this board. I am one of the Cyclone coaches and I have seen all these kids play for years including Charles. There is no question that he is a very good player and yes he will be on the varsity soon, but because of basketball he just got far behind the others. The coaching staff at EHS will not run the risk of placing a young kid in a varsity situation until they are ready. The reason is for the kid. There are several very good freshman at EHS this year and only one or two has had any varsity playing time. Maybe you should ask them just how hard it is to make the adjustment from Jr. Babe Ruth to Varsity baseball. This thread started out about Cyclone baseball and has turned into one about just one kid. If you really support Charles then maybe you should support the Cyclones because this is a TEAM game, and he is a part of the TEAM.

To all you cyclone players remember that this weather that were having will affect everyone just like it has us. With all the rain outs that we've had in the last week we have to remember to stay focused on our goals. The next three weeks will be the time that we see want were made of. There will be alot of games packed in to a few days and you need to stay focused on what we want to accomplish as a TEAM.

I dont know about any one else but Elizabethton will not be coming to play. I dont think that anyone will be playing this tournament. We were really looking forward to it and the weather has just killed it.

Does anyone know if Happy Valley and Johnson County played today and if so what was the score.

BJ Miller is the best ,he is lead of stick that makes things happen for the Cyclones,just coming out from basketball,from the state one day of practice and goes 2/3 in big conf game,starts oof with triple,is a leader and winner,by far the best around.

I'd put BJ Miller from Elizabethton up against any of them.

No it was not a conference loss for Eliz. They will play next week in a conference game then you should see all of the starters.

I really hope that this is not going to go there. CoachSH dont listen to what these people say on here you keep supporting Betsy and T.H. he has done a great job at EHS and he deserves all the praises he gets.
