  1. Congrats to Alex Poythress on being named Gatorade Player of the Year for Tenn.
  2. Central will have a tough time with Ms Graves. The Florida signee can shoot and play D( she draws the toughest offense peremiter player each game), Go thru Ms. Graves and Clarksville advances. Just my opinion.
  3. Clarksville looked very poised and focused last night. It was a hard fought game and the better team won last night.
  4. Bashaara Graves, Shacobie Barbee, Chandler Cooper. All three have helped their teams to great records so far. Have not seen enough of the other girls in east and west Tenn.
  5. Congratulations to the girls nominated. All girls are very well deserving.
  6. Congratulations to Basharra Graves(Tennessee), Chandler Cooper(Florida), Jessy Ward(Mississippi State), Tiasha Gray(Austin Peay), and Tia Nicholson(Tennessee Tech). These 5 girls will be signing Wed. Congats on a job well done.
  7. Apsugov this has your boy btru on another username. Also this has been a rivalry way before 1998. This one goes back in the day of Johnny Majors, Bo Carr, and the rest of the players for both sides when people from Huntland and Lynchburg did not get along. Most of the coaches from Huntland can tell you about that because they played in this game. By the way Wildcatpride your post may be right as far as them running the same old plays, but if you execute them then they will work. I thing Pete Sampras said it best I just keep hitting the same old boring winners. Also you have to play to your strengths. Huntland does not have a great thrower but they do have a great runner. They probably have just as good a chance to get a first down when it is 3rd and 20 with running a counter as they do throwing it. I agree it may not be the funnest thing to watch but are we here to win or look good? But if you are not a coach then you may not understand that? I hate watching Princeton play their boring offense in basketball, but they do not have the type of players to run and gun. I think the Huntland staff does a good job with their team as well as do all the coaches in that region. All I am saying is those plays will work if they are executed well. The Titans were pretty boring the year they went to the Super Bowl and I think Huntland ran the same plays in1998 when they went to the semifinals of the playoffs. That is just my opinion, but I get tired pf people getting on here and bashing coaches when they have no idea what they are talking about. If you are so great then become a coach and win a few state titles and then write me a book and I will buy it. Until then just get on here and praise your team and give your predictions and opinions but done bash the coaches. That is for cowards!! By the way to all the coaches at Huntland I always got your back. Good luck. Whats up gov7?
  8. easy sweetj39--your on a roll...
  9. I like Henry co. and Clarksville as the teams to beat..with Northwest right behind them....you do not want Dickson co. or Northeast in a one game do or die come tournament time in my opinion...Townley ,for Northwest, was great last night I heard...
  10. Im with ya gov7 they just have to play with confidence and believe in themselves. Moore Co. is very good and they will be tough but I think Huntland has as good a chance as they have had in a long time. Good luck Lady Hornets.
  11. underrated---phil carr---cheatham co---all he does is win....rick martin---northeast--school record for wins first year...
  12. TnBall- Rossview will battle Kenwood for the last spot--mark it down....even though I have to give last place to the Wood..
  13. dafuture---get real...they play better defense then any other team around and have they have great leadership in Nikki Garrett...their defense alone is why they will be the best team around in the city..hard to score on them if you cannnot advance the ball.
