  1. I would have to say the Chapel Hill shortstop
  2. What do you mean just like basketball, this is two different teams. I just was commenting how the teams were last year. Cascade only lost one player from the outfield, and two players didn't come back. So they have most the same returning players. So I imagine they just won't roll over. So were not comparing basketball and softball. If I remember right basketball didn't roll over, they just had failure in coaching.
  3. Don't rule out Cascade. They have a seasoned pitcher. She's pitched since 8th grade and this is her senior year. Remember last year each time you two teams met, especially in the district tournament.
  4. From Cascade it was Joseph Floyd, Chris Graham, Jeffrey Comstock and Tyler Bowman. Great job guys.
  5. Joseph Floyd the catcher for Cascade can run a 4.2
  6. His last name is Graham, not his first name that is just what everyone calls him.
  7. Who won the games between Huntland and Pope John Paul II?

    Disrict 11a

Don't leave the two seniors nameless. Chris Graham and Joseph Floyd, have been a pitching and catching combination since little league. They are stronger now and are the heart of the team. There were alot of others players that will be a help to the team. Good luck Champs.
  9. Katie Jackson from Cascade a great improved pitcher from starting out as 8th grader. Now she is a 11th grader and really strong.
  10. Nobody is off the subject. All Region from Cascade Zack Akers Mac Christmas Zak Faulk Joseph Floyd David Gallagher Honorable Mention All Region Levi Bain Tyler Bowman Patrick Hasty Shaun O'Day Is that what you wanted to hear.
  11. I didn' say he shouldn't be the MVP. You always want someone from your own team be MVP. David had a great year along with the other seniors on our team. We were under estimated this year. We were "to" finish 2nd from last, to hear alot of people opinion.
  12. Gallagher won't get MVP, he was named to the All Region Team.
  13. Yes the one's that from Cascade that was this thread bragging to win, were teenager's. Just like DCA had teenager's on this thread talking the same. I don't believe nobody was whining. DCA is a good ball club. But I don't know if you were sitting in the same position I was, but the program list for DCA gives about seventy players to Cascade forty-five. There again can't nobody take away how good your team is, but getting on here and saying I'm a sore loser is a wrong chose of words. I just remember last night we were in the quarter paint several times last night and could not get through, because of your good defense.
  14. Didn't nobody say we were a sore loser. Just play your division. Your team should be in a triple A division. You have enough player's to field 6 to 7 teams. Were our teams does well to get enough to play. No one from Cascade is taking anything away from your team. I just find it very rude when you come through and hear parent's talking on were they are going to play next week. That tells me that they didn't feel Cascade should even been there. They shouldn't have to play against a triple A ball club, when there a single A ball club.

    Region 6 1-A

How can Moore County be 4th when Cascade beat them? I understand maybe this is just a predicition, but fact remains they should be ahead of Moore Co.

    Region 6 A

I'm sure both teams talked alot of crap. Cascade wasn't the only team on the field, and not taking nothing away from your team. But whether your Cascade or Wayne County kids will be kids. We have to remember teams are competitive and intense. So let's all try not to bad mouth the other team.

    Region 6 A

Wildcatpride don't take one game to say another team is bad. One of there main players was out not saying that that player would made alot of difference. So try not judge a team by one preformance.

    Region 6 A

I say may the best teams on the field Friday night win. Predicitions are made, and sometimes broken. Good luck to all district 6a teams this week. May all the players go injury free.
  19. There again I said in the beginning Huntland played the game for the win. I didn't say that they wasn't a discipline set of coaches, I said I hope teach a little more discipline this week. After this being said it should just drop. But if anyone was offended then I'm sorry. But there again there was mouthing from players on both sides. I hope both teams have a great week and no one gets hurt. This thread has been hashed out enough over what happen or what could of happened.
  20. I agree. But I believe no one was cying they were just stating what went on the field. The last part of my post came from son who had play experience. But there again like I said earlier didn't no one say that Huntland didn't play hard enough to win.
  21. I didn't say nothing about a cut block you must have a guilty consicious. As far as telling the kicker, he is not my son. And there is always two sides to every story. But from where I was sitting when your son is twisted like a pretzile then you can understand where a parent is coming from. And as far as the mouthing both teams needed to keep there mouths shut. Also pulling guards jobs are not to cut block if they are pulling that would be dumb cause that would just cause a pile in the hole where the running back is going. it is also not legal to cut block downfield. An offensive lineman can only cut block in between the tackles. Also the coaches will not allow the kicker to play offense or defense because of his torn acl from last season. The kicker wants to play defense because he loves hitting people and i know he wont mind if someone wanted to hit him.
  22. Didn't nobody say Huntland wasn't a good team. Everybody had there own opinion about what the score would be. Cascade fans wanted the score to be different, and so did Huntland. But Huntland came out on top. I just hope the Coach for Huntland teaches a little more discipline for next weeks practice. So maybe the opposing team want have a mother in the stands watch her son be tooking off the field and come back on crutches.
  23. Yea. Huntland beat Eagleville 8 - 5, and Cascade beat Moore Co. 7-0.
