His name is Brian May, he had 22 points and 10 rebounds, he has hit 20 or more in 3 out of the five games they played. Hillsboro had an horrible start will 2 or 3 sophmores starting at a time, they also have alot of young talent with a JV team at (3-0) right now, but Hillsboro is going to definitely one of the teams to beat in the region with Chris Russel playing/dunking like that.

Chris Russell will be returning this tuesday to an 0-4 Hillsboro team, with losses to Antioch, Maplewood, & McGavock. It was hard for Hillsboro to play some of the best teams without their stars, and many teams took advantage of that. But I guarantee you that once they get Walter Fisher, Chris Russell, and Corey Smith back, after Christmas they are going to be very tough. They haven't been playing to well with some nice sophmores at post but they are going to be one of the teams to beat come tournament time. [Edited by domonique2002 on 12-8-02 11:47A]

I believe that Hillsboro was the much better team and should of won, but I was expecting more out of Maryville the way people talked about them. Hillsboro made some crucial mistakes that caused them the game then Maryville capatalized. I don't think that it was too much of a gap between Hillsboro, Melrose, Nashville Overton, Maryville or Memphis East. Those teams who got put out early had the talent to be in Hillsboro or Maryville's position. Congrats to Maryville for not giving up.

This is a rematch of two very talented teams, I believe Hillsboro will pull it off once again. Who do you guys think will win? Hillsboro will win 24-14. Great Game.

Hillsboro went to Summertown this weekend to play Richland, Summertown, and Giles Co. Hillsboro came out 2-1 with a L to Giles Co. by 3. Tyler Smith was just too much, and had 4 or 5 dunks against a nice Hillsboro team. But, junior Walter Fisher did Giles Co. in for 17 pts. Hillsboro's Sophmores did a nice job against them with Mike Lafleur with 7 pts, Daniel Wall with 10 pts., and Domonique Martin with 5 pts. Against Richland Hillsboro had a bad start, but came out on top winning by 14. Daniel Wall had 9 pts, Domonique Martin with 7 pts., and Mike Lafluer with 7 pts. Against Summertown, Hillsboro played a nail biting game winning by 3 in Overtime. Daniel Wall with 7 pts, Domonique Martin with 6 pts.

They are a very good team, but their season will come to an end on Friday. Hillsboro is just too much for them. Maybe Next Year.

Next year I believe that you'll add 3-5 sophmore players to your list, and all of them go to Hillsboro. They are going to have their own AAU team next year, and they'll be pretty nice to watch.

Gomab, I think that you do a good job with your rankings, but you are missing Walter Fisher, who I believe should be in the top 60. He's 6'3, 240, and goes to Hillsboro High School. He played for the Nashville Stallions in AAU and will be a real good player in the second semester for Hillsboro.

Overton fans talked a little bit too much trash. It made me mad how much stuff Overton fans and players were talking, but obviously they couldn't back it up because they came up shourt at the end of the game. At the game those guys with the letters B.O.B.C.A.T.S. on their chest had ran on Hillsboro's side holding up Overton signs and tried to run through some Hillsboro guys. Unfortunately the didn't make it to the other side without getting hit upside the head with a couple of cold drinks.

Aren't you the same guy who was talking about Hillsboro's fans, and you want to talk about class. The reason why I'm so happy about the victory over Overton is because the whole time the students and players at Hillsboro knew that we were going to bring the heat. You guys were comparing our score with yalls against other teams, and that meant nothing. Yall were getting hype off those blowouts that yall were winning over no one while we were just focused on winning the game.

This was the best game I've seen all year, and I am so glad to prove all of you guys wrong. I can't believe that all of yall thought that Overton was going to beat Hillsboro. Overton just isn't on Hillsboro's level yet, but they played a very good game and almost won. Hillsboro 2002 State Contenders, yeah I said it.

I believe Maplewood can with Ricardo Griffey, Jamal Richardson, and Bubba.

This year Hume fogg will go beause MLK is just too young, but the year after next, MLK is going to be pretty hard to beat. Hume Fogg has nice guards, with Brandon leading the way, but I believe they are hurting down low.

I believe that it will be a very good game but I can't say that Overton is going to win because I haven't seen them play against competiton, but I think Overton is going to fold when frige bust through the whole.

I cant believe that some of you guys think that Overton is going to win,I say 21-7 Hillsboro's way.

Hillsboro has played 3 tough teams and has came out on top, (4-2) Stratford 21-7, (5-1) Tullahoma 21-0, and (5-1) Pearl Cohn 42-6. Overton on the other hand, hasn't played any tough teams. Overton hasn't played anyone to show me how good they are, but when they play a team like Hillsboro, Statford, Pearl-Cohn, Hunters Lane, or Tullahoma is when we can see how good are. Lets say if we were to play Overton 1st and Pearl Cohn 9th. People would be hyping up the game against Pearl just like they are hyping up the game now against Overton.

I think that Maryville can beat Hillsboro, but I also think that Hillsboro can beat Maryville. I believe that the game could go either way. But, It's too early to be talking about a game like this anyway because it could possibly be two other teams in the state championship other than Hillsboro and Maryville. I hope Maryville hasn't gotten to the point where they think they can't be beaten, because thats one of the quickest ways to get beat.
