  1. Anderson County has an excellent facility.
  2. Scott County is a very improved team. They have some good looking kids. Their QB is very quick and has a very good arm. They have a good looking TE/FB and some speed at the outside reciever positions. I also know that they will lay the wood to you. AC will have their hands full.

    AE-Scott

Who played QB for AE in last nights game?
  4. Clinton does have some athletes mixed in with some young linemen. They have played a very rough schedule in what is probably the toughest 4A region in the state. Plus their non-region opponents AC and OR are kicking butt. I was not surprised at all at their performance last night.
  5. Tony Lambert at AC is the best d-coordinator around. He brings so much to the table, knowledge, love of the game and intensity. If you miss an assignment he'll rip your head off. At the same time he has a big heart.
  6. Again, you show how misinformed you are. AC had to forfeit some games in 97 because a player participated who did not have all his credits from the previous semester, not because he was a transfer. They did not miss the playoffs. Secondly, I'm sure if you look at the rosters of all the schools you mentioned there are players who have transfered from other schools. If not this current year, then in previous years. Your implication is that AC can only win with transfers. AC is a quality school with great academics and a solid athletic program. It is true that we have alot of kids who want to leave neighboring schools and come to AC. It happens everywhere. Give credit where credit is due. The coaches and players work hard and deserve the credit for their 6-0 start. I get "mad" when jealous, little people like you make insinuations about our program that aren't true.
  7. Not only are you misinformed about the makeup of this years team, you don't have the guts to stand by what you have implied in your post.
  8. you jealous? Anderson County is winning and Halls can just barely score a touchdown. Get your facts straight before you start throwing off on AC. We are winning without the benefit of any "transfers". I don't know if Halls has a player who could suit up at AC.
  9. We remember this tough little guy when he was going to school in Anderson County. It's great to hear and read about him having a great year.
  10. Clinton 14 Halls 12 Catlett has his team playing hard. Sharp is gonna get his, can't stop him completely. They are young and will only get better.
  11. Fortunately, I do have coverage through TEA. My desire is only to let everyone know. I know of two coaches who thought they had coverage through TACA and decided not to join TEA. These guys have a right to know.
  12. I just found out some great news. TACA members are not covered with liability insurance for incidents that occur in the classroom. Our coverage only extends to events that happen on the field. I just found this out.
  13. With the exception of Corey Booker I thought Anderson County's players matched up quite well with the Oak Ridge players. I think that the best team did win friday night. Face it, Oak Ridge is in a down swing right now as far as talent goes. It happens everywhere, why can't it happen in your town? True, Oak Ridge made more mistakes than AC, but those fumbles and interception were the result of hard hits given out by AC players. The OR coaches don't kick extra points and they don't cover wide-outs on punt return. So ease up on them a little. AC has good coaches and good players. They will beat alot of people, and if you get behind Lussier and the OR football team, maybe they will put this behind them and win some games.
  14. AC enrollment as of 5/28 is 953.
