  1. Actually, when you include the private school championships East TN won four of the eight possible championships. Webb, Alcoa, Fulton, and Maryville, seems the outcome points to where the power is.
  2. Jamey, I'm still at Clinton, and I finished this year as the d-coordinator at the middle school. What alot of people donn't know and that includes the players is this was my last year. As of last Thursday I'm retired from coaching. I've decided to follow other interest. I'll still be around the game, but no as a coach. I hope you doing well Jamey, and I will always remember and respect what your Papaw taught me.
  3. Does anyone know the order of finish for either tournament?
  4. Does anyone know the order of finish for either tournament?
  5. Exactly, where does the clinic take place?
  6. Clinton High School 8/26 @ Oak Ridge 9/2 Maryville * 9/9 Campbell County 9/16 @ South-Doyle * 9/23 Anderson County 9/30 Knox Halls * 10/7 @ Lenior City * 10/14 @ West * 10/21 Knox Central * 10/28 @ Powell * * = Region Games
  7. Rnanamom, or Rene Lamance, do you take the time to say these things to the coaches of Wartburg when you sub in the school. Probably not, I have played for and coached with several different men in my time and I promise Larry Davis has more knowledge of the game of football han 90% of the coaches in this state. "Oh no," he runs the same system every year. It's called the veer and gives the offense two options each play. If the QB makes the right choice is the key to the play. Coach Davis can't run the play for the kids. I know it must be terrible to watch a team do the same thing every year. I guess the individuals at Brentwood Academy are tired of watching Coach Flatt run the same system each year. It only made him the winningest coach in Tennessee history, and he's been at it since the early 70's. Of course his athletes have been just a little better than Wartburg's since Coach Davis arrived.
  8. Thanks Jamy. Tell Hoot, Polar Bear, and Foster I plan to come out to Wartburg and see them. Please keep me updated on Hoot's condition. Good luck and remember to tell that backside to ride that train. Just remember you know the truth , and don't attempt to argue with ignorance.
  9. Michael Wilke OG/DL from Wartburg Central signed to play with Rainy River Community College in International Falls, Minnesota.
  10. Was the injured player from Houston Co. or Creekwood?
  11. Orville McCullough, Houston County. He can place the ball on a dime and keep outfielders running from corner to corner.
  12. Look since I know your a waste of space on a dead end 0-10 team in Harriman I'll ignore your comment. But of course I'd would hate to go through life known as Ricky Ricardo.
  13. I'll make no predictions, openly. A rule I've always stood by, but I will say I'll be in Nashville this Friday, and wish everyone a good game.
