im gonna havta go with my boi dustin latham, he doesnt have the line he is used to havin this year and in 2 games he has 5 rushing tds 360 yrds and 1 rec td, and if everything goes right he will eclipse the 5000yrd mark and could pass the 6000 yrd mark if he has some big games and a good year in general, and all these other ppl in this thread are pretty dang good too, but i had to give my boi some props on here thumb

There have been some really good backs named in here but how did everyone forget about Dustin Latham of Sweetwater?? He had 205 yrds against South Pitt. last week and 3 tds. He is def. one of the best rb's this year and in the class of 05, he is approaching 5000 yrds and could possibly pass 6000 if he gets enough yardage this year...and has neone said ne thing bout the kid from Coffee Co. he is really good too, i cant think of his name.

i played for coach martin at sweetwater and hated to see him leave he is one of the best coaches ive ever been under...and i kno he will have is boys ready..so im goin with meigs and one of my fave coaches

these guyz may be running these times but u gotta factor in they r running with no pads or nething on ...in football games these guys have on pads,in grass and a ball in there hands so they r slower but still sub 4.4 40's r fast but one of the fastestes guys ive ever seen is james rainard from alcoa in 2000 he was redicuolously fast ...he now runs track at etsu

sweetwater vs loudon and sweetwater vs wartburg were both great games to watch for comeback wins

i think it will be a good game because gp is just like oliver springs in the physical and athletic part and the sw os game was a good game but little mistakes and missed tackles killed us

sweetwater plays oliver springs in os on halloween ... that will be a hostile game!! cant wait tho!!

dustin went to a specialist today he has tedonitis or however u spell it behind his knee on his hamstring and he has a brace on it now and is on crutches

i play for sweetwater and i cant wait for this game ... im getting first game of the season butterflies right now just typin and thinkin bout it...i think this will be the best game in the state this week ... it will not be a blow our unless one of the teams just has a horrible first game .. but we (sweetwater) will not lay down if i havta run the ball and i dont think that will happen cause i kno my boy O't (latham) will do his job and the rest of our backfield i kno im gonna block my heart out cause im a senior this year and i aint goin out a loser...so everyone that can come to the game and watch a barn burner of a game in Sout Pitt. !! our colors are blue and gold ... our helmets are blue with the shs (gold) in a gold oval ... our away jerseys are white with blue numbers with gold outline ....our home jerseys are blue with gold numbers and white outline and we have 4 different pants... blue,white,gold,and grey... we r wearin the away white jerseys and blue pants 2morrow at SP.

sweetwaters running game has speed and power .... im sure everyone has heard of dustin latham by now ..preseason all-state in 2a over 3000 yards at the fb position and is just a junior this year.. he had tons of honors and award last season and jam ferguson is tb with lots of speed and he isnt afraid to lower his head ..and jeffery moore is just plain fast at wingback ..and we have a moble qb in chris melton ... and a good stout line to open up holes for all of these guys !!

the loudon jamboree will be on aug. 22

10/31 sweetwater vs. oliver springs will possibly be for the region championship in region 2-2a and im lookin forward to seein how alcoa is gonna do they will be the team to beat here in a year or two no doubt about that !!
