Top 5 as of Dec 6.... 1. Grace Christian - beat Wartburg by 20 plus!! 2. Wartburg - Even though they lost to Grace, still has the edge at #2. 3. Oliver Springs - 4. Rockwood - Has looked good beating Oakdale and Sunbright by big margins 5. Greenback and Oneida - As the games pile up, we will know more!!!

Saw where Sunbright lost 2 games on Saturday to Clay Co and Eagleville. THey lost by 35 to each of them! OS beat Jackson Co by 15 or so. Oakdale lost to Clarkrange pretty bad a few days ago. Any report on Wartburg, Onieda, Coalfield in HOF action??

OS easily handled Kingston twice last year and OS also beat Kingston this summer in a scrimmage at Oak Ridge. So Saying that Kingston is the top of the county is a little premature.......don't you think?

Will there be a boys game between Wartburg and Clarkrange??

What was the final score between Sunbright and Harriman?? Hey BOB, tell someone from Sunbright to get their schedule on Coacht. That goes the same for Oakdale and Coalfield. Where are all those fans? Disregard the score...I see it is posted.

How is sunbright looking? Didn't they have a coaching change? I know they lost a few seniors from last year.

Anyone got any news on Onieda, Sunbright, Oakdale??? Scrimmages??

OS has scrimmaged Greenback, CAK, Seymour, and GP. With both team missing FB players, OS doubled up Greenback and looked pretty decent. Next, they scrimmaged CAK in a controlled scrimmage format with no scoreboard. If you had to give a score, OS would have outplayed them. The last scrimmage was a 3 way with Seymour and GP. OS trailed in both games, but rallied in both to pull away with wins....beat seymour by 5 and gp by 1 on a buzzer beater. First game of the season is at Sequoyah on Tues night!

Other than Upchurch for Clarkrange...how do they look? Any others that stand out.

I think I will pick Sullivan Central.....please give us a recap after the game!!!

OS has 3 returning starters in PG, SG, PF. They also have two other post players that have played varsity minutes during crunch time. Inexperienced but talented bench. Onieda returns everyone except a starting post and their 6th man(a guard). Plus their original PG (who was hurt all year last year) will be back. He is a scorer and handles well. The only question will be is how will the new coach effect them? Like i've said before, top 3 in that district will be tight. With Grace, Rockwood, Harriman, Greenback......where do you see it pan out RunNGun?? I heard OS scrimmaged Greenback and beat them pretty bad.

1. Wartburg - They are at the top until someone takes it from them. 2. Oliver Springs - Not alot of experience coming back, but based on their summer play they will be a force and right on the heels of #1. 3. Oneida - They will be tough and it will be interesting to see how the teams adjust to the new coach. The top 3 teams are not far from each other. 4. Sunbright - Did lose some size, but do return an experienced back court and a new coach. The gap between 3 and 4 is pretty big. 5. Oakdale - I think they will have enough to aviod being the bottom, but just barely! 6. Coalfield - They do return alot, but still just don't have enough to get out of the bottom spot. Everyone is handing Wartburg this division, but I still feel OS and Oneida will have a lot to say about that during the season. Should be a great season once again. The past few years it has been OS or Wartburg at the top....can Oneida finally get over the hump?

And speaking of teams in both districts(Grace, Greenback, Harriman, OS, Wartburg, Onieda, Rockwood)....does any one have any scrimmage results/recaps to speak of???

I don't know much, but I believe it will not be a cake walk for Wartburg in district 4A. They do have the most back from last season, but that doesn't equal automatic champions. Oneida and Oliver Springs have enough to knock them off from the preseason top spot!

The Bobcats played hard and looked better than last week but Rockwood had a little more to pull away late in the 3rd quarter. Keep up the effort OS and don't quit!

I know about Slusher, Pridemore and big boy inside, but who was the 6th man you are talking about? I've seen them play a few times and I don't remember that one.

The question will be do they have some players coming up to fill the shoes left by last year's seniors? I don't know what they have, they didn't really have a deep bench last year. Didn't they lose 5 or 6 Srs? I think they could have a tougher time than last year unless there are some young guys ready to play!

Who was the Coach before Baird? Was is Perry Hull?

Does anyone have any reports from the OS/Midway scrimmage?
