As you sit there behind your computer and claim that our country was based on free speech and all that...also know that there are laws against SLANDER. You can't print or talk about somebody, slandering their name without consequences. That's why I also hate the screen names...if you have an opinion then state it and hide behind your screen name. But if you are going talk bad about people and accuse people of things then know that it could be considered slander.

the correct score of the cheatham cw game was 72-56. with a cw player making an irrelevant three pointer at the buzzer. it was never close as cheatham destroyed creek wood. cheatham has won 6 straight district games and 5 overall. congrats to the players and coaches on a job well done. Friday night will be a HUGE game for both teams as well as a great atmospere!!!

There's no way that Jake West can play division 1 basketball. He's very undersized to even think about it. He's not very quick and doesn't play very good defense. I've seen him play a lot the past two years and he doesn't seem to work very hard either. He would be a great player at a smaller NAIA school. If he did get on a D1 team, he would have to be a walk on and would primarily be a practice player.

cody hughes from cheatham county was the district player of the year this year as a sophomore. if he is not the best player in the state now .... he will be very soon!!!!!!!!

Cheatham County 7th?! You must be crazy! Yeah they lost some starters, but you have to remember that they still have Abby Lawson, who is probably the best player in the district. Yes they are young, but their young players are GOOD. And Cheatham has not had less than 20 wins in probably about 10-15 years(not including the forfeit games). And they won't start this year. Coach Carr will have them ready to go. I promise you that. It's between Cheatham and Harpeth this year. Hands down.

cheatham will win tonight. they have an un stoppable senior class. led by their monstrous middle linebacker jack hoeh and strong safety brandon piper. and if the game comes down to the kicking game joey beach will always come thru in the clutch. there is no way lipscomb can run the trap with hoeh clogging up the middle.

coach t please remove the first west carroll-trenton game from nov 19. it is listed twice and one is counted as a tie which is hurting their strength ranking. thanks

while it is not a huge accomplishment to score 38 on big sandy, webb did it in about 24 minutes. he only played about 45 seconds of the 4th quarter. and the reason only 5 players scored for wc is that they only have 10 players on the team and one of those players (hawkins) did not play in that game due to an illness. so only 9 players dressed out against big sandy. Also, to say that xavier webb is just tall??? that shows very little knowledge about the game of basketball!!

webb is doubtful for fridays game due to a knee injury during a scrimmage last week. it will be a game time decision on whether he will play.

I heard that Big Wayne is going to Kentucky to live with another parent or cousin.

west carroll does have someone to take the pressure off webb. 6'4" senior john taylor was actually the leading scorer last year and should help webb. FYI-wc beat perry county in a scrimmage this week
