Notre Dame wouldn't stay at 3rd if that happened would they? So if Grundy wins Friday who do they play?

_IF_ Grundy were to beat Notre Dame does this change anything in that quad?

The GCHS Bass Fishing Team will be taking the parking donations tonight. Bass fishing is an expensive sport with no gate money so all we can do is fundraisers and things like this. So if you have an extra dollar please consider my fishing kids tonight! David.

Need to correct my mistake..... 1989 - 8-3; 7-4; 7-4; 7-4; 10-3; 6-5, 4-7 and 1996 - 4-7 for a total of 53-37. There were 3 Walking Horse Bowl wins, 5 years in the playoffs with 2 wins in the playoffs in the 1993 season. Just to be accurate. The link on the other page with the results is wrong on the 1990 season. It was 7-4 with a win in the Walking Horse Bowl that year too.

I'm not interested in the main debate in this thread. But I struggle when people forget or ignore history. It has been said in this that we haven't and can't have a winning program. We're not relevant? During the Chris Pickett tenure as head coach when he and Ted Ladd made us winners here's our record...1988 - 5-4; 8-3; 7-4; 7-4; 7-4; 10-3; 6-5 and 1995 - 4-7 for a total of 54-34. We were winners. We won bowl games and we won playoff games. However Pic couldn't beat Colquette and Marion and that's what got him run off. That and the powers that be up here's first attempt at getting Colquette up here. But the bottom line is Chris Pickett had the most successful record in our history in his 8 years. We were good and he and Ted got the most out of the players they had year in and year out. So debate all you want the current situation. But please don't walk on my friend's memory by not accurately describing history. David Lowrie.

No prob. Just figured I'd clear it up. Our guy is a good guy. He actually should have some help. All the different times I was in charge of the stats I always had help or had 2-3 people doing it for me.

Just to clear this up our stat guy called the TFP last night from the fieldhouse. When he called he was told by TFP staff that someone from Silverdale was on the phone too already calling it in. He stated to the reporter that he thought we were the official book. The reporter said he could give it too but they were already getting it. So our guy let it go since it was already in play. Our stat guy sent me the stats overnight. I had them first thing this morning. All SEVEN of our turnovers are listed on the sheets to each player they belong to. I don't know that I'll list them that way in the Herald this week. Normally just list interceptions because it's the common way it's listed in sportswriting. I would list them as a whole though because 7 turnovers is a big factor in any game. Our stat guy does what he does for free like most stat folks out there. I promise you he's there for the good of all the kids and because he loves Grundy sports as much as a lot do.

So far Chattanooga Christian and East Hamiltion High are fishing with us Sept 21. Need to know any more no later than by 10 am on the 18th in order that I can have the right amount of prizes. David.

Ok boys and girls I'm putting on my moderator hat and closing this thread. I'm not trying to prohibit anyone's debate. Lord knows I've had more than my fair share on here. But for those of you wishing to continue the coaching discussion you can start a new thread just about that. There's one that was started but I wouldn't want to encourage that Dillard loon. Anyway, this was about the game and that game is over. So we can at least give the Sequatchie fans some peace by closing this. Closing in 5...4...3...2.....

Didn't they fix that last year or last? I've been to one of those games this year and the big group wasn't 11-12 it was 10-11. Of course that means we're going to start them even younger. I saw someone asking for 5 year olds to come out. Just can't agree with that mess.

I will say this though. The person who said we only have 2 talented players on the team..... That's laughable. There's more talent on this team than any since 2003.

I'm going to keep avoiding it too. There is no benefit in me expressing any positive or negative thoughts on the staff. And frankly when I have before what good did it do me? Loved Pic and never wanted him ousted the first go round. Liked Sid and where he was taking us and he was gone in a year. Loved Brew and watched him get royally screwed over. NEVER wanted Colquette, begged some not to hire him, predicted everything that would go wrong and they hired him anyway. Was glad that Brew got another shot and that ended quickly. Was tickled to death that Pic was back and we lost him for good and I'll never get over that. Wanted Charlie and worked to get him and that didn't happen. So looking at my track record why would what I think matter? No matter what I wanted the opposite would probably happen. So nope. I'm not in the debate this time. I've got a fishing team to run. And for my sports reporter hat....I've been through 8 coaches. The longer I continue with that part time job the more likely I am to go through a few more.

I understood who you meant was on the list. You didn't understand that I meant Colquette likes gate money too much to let anyone put that many on a pass list. Standard list is 25. Can't see Colquette letting any team put 40 on the pass list.
