  1. A rematch of Tyner vs Grundy County in the Region finals is "VERY, VERY, VERY.................. unlikely to happen. Possible, but "VERY" unlikely. Grundy would have to beat either Meigs Co. or McMinn Central plus Walker Valley Tyner would have to beat either Meigs Co. or McMinn Central plus Tellico Plains Possible.....but "VERY" unlikely both of the above will happen. Maybe one will happen......but both...... "VERY" unlikely......
  2. Howard can't play with Tyner. No chance, unless the lights go out and they flip a coin. Then its 50 / 50
  3. I like Cleveland to win tonight.... I like Bradley to win Region........

  7. Are those raindrops? Nope, just another shower of tears from another none WV crying fan. This AA / AAA sad song is so old and so repetitive, its beginning to get down right pitiful. Find another excuse. I got it.....WV got a better team..... thumb
  8. That must say you dont think your team has a chance in hot water to win any games in the district or regionals and sectionals and state are beyond reach.... Can't ya'll say at least good job ladies for your own school and look forward to next year

  12. Showtime....that Cleveland/Shelbyville vs Walker Valley/Cleveland mumbo jumbo means about as much as saying ....Lets see....Mt. J waxed Shelbyville by 23 and only beat WV by 9, so does that mean WV is 14 points better than Shelbyville? LOL Please.....
  13. You had me going for a while, even though I read in the newspaper about a boys game that ended up 5 - 2.
  14. Score posted on Ooltewah - Rhea Co. is 10 - 9. Is this a mistake?
  15. From Walker Valley: O'asha Parks, Tichina Isom, Alex Walker......Defense is what they do best!!! Pressure, pressure, pressure....... thumb
  16. There were at least three starters in the game in the 4th quarter with 6:00 remaining in the game. Was Powell afraid of a late rally??? hahaha
  17. Not throwing off on these programs, but hey volntn, Cleveland has definitely really played all top notch teams. Power teams of the last 3 years: Rhea (19-62); Ooltewah (27-42); Chattanooga Central (2-48) Welcome to the big leagues???? You play whose on your schedule in your district and region. Thats the way it is!!!
  18. First point: If you are not worried about losing Rogers, Brett, Burnett and Rader, you must be graduating and wont be there next year, because Kerri, I agree, is a an awesome young talent, but minus those 4, well, just wait and see. Second point: Whose the best team in Chattanooga area, depends on your measuring stick. Some may not measure TOP like others. Third Point: Please pay CLOSE attention to this!!! 2002-2003 WV won 63-47 : CHS won 53-44 2003-2004 WV won 60-55 : CHS won 78-72 2004-2005 CHS won 76-50 : ?????? Cleveland is totally dominating Walker Valley every year! I think people get tired of hearing that same old sad song about number of students vs they suppose to win, next year AAA.....etc,etc. When they get on the floor, they still got to play, whether against A,AA,AAA,AAAA.....no matter.
  19. Give me a break. Who has Cleveland beat in the last 4 years with all that talent over there except weak teams in AAA and AA teams? I don't see no Gold balls at CHS, unless its a picture in a newspaper article pinned on the wall for team inspiration for the next year. Guess those inflated records mean more at CHS. Every year we hear how great they are and what they are going to do. Still waiting !!!!!! You better be worried about your record next year instead of WVHS after you lose Rogers, Brett, Burnett, and Rader.
  20. Don't you get tired of singing that " number of students, thats why they so good" sad song. Yea they might have a bigger pool to pick from than some others, but the fact is, after the selection is done, its 5 on 5, talent vs talent, not 1200 students on the floor vs 900 students. If WV talent is better than yours, you can transfer those same 5 to a school of 100 and you still gonna get spanked. I have not heard of any school having any magical powers that make kids grow taller, dribble, shoot, guard, rebound, etc. better, just because they in a school sized A, AA, AAA, AAAA, AAAAA. I imagine that comes from extra work and dedication. So my humble suggestion to anyone would be stop counting and work harder.
  21. My family and I would like to send the best of well wishes to Hailey, who tore her ACL Monday night versus Cleveland. She's a great kid and competitor. We will be praying for you for a sucessful surgery and very speedy recovery.
  22. How are these matchups looking now that we have a few games under our belts?
