Soddy dads nagging you yet Cooter?

Just finish watching the game on WazooOnDemand. This was my first time seeing the Owls in action this year which is unusual for me. There are tons of athletes on the field. Fastest team I've seen in years. The D-line is by far the strength of the team. Too much power and speed in the defensive trenches for the owls. The offense is probably the worst I've seen in years. There was not enough instensity and emotion on that side of the ball and the execution was horrible. Way too much leakage on the line, as defenders were all over the runningbacks at the line of scrimmage on every down. The offense looked confused on numerous plays, where no one knew where to stand or who to block. I expected the Owls to be able to push WB around but that didn't happen offensively. Did WB have more yards than the Owls? There were numerous of times I watched kids not finish the play and turn around to look at what was going on. I'm a huge Ooltewah fan as most everyone knows, and this team has the most talent from top to bottom than past teams. I just believe there needs to be an overall increase of intensity, emotion, and execution, especially on offense. Hopefully, we will get the offensive train rolling in the next couple of weeks before we play Oak Ridge, Soddy, and Farragut. Sorry if I stepped on some toes. Just my opinion....

Half the kids from Ooltewah? You are crazy... You are talking about 1 kid..and I have no idea who it is. Lets talk about some of the kids that have left Ooltewah to play at other schools. Soddy Daisy, Tyner, Lookout Valley, Red Bank... Thats all from last year...

Miami NorthWestern also has 4200 students. Its an inner city school. I played with several kids from Miami Northwestern at Carson-Newman.

Price will be Soddy's new coach....

Haha are you calling me out? Go back to some of the post and tell me what trash talking I did? I don't trash talk on here. Everyone on here knows that...I never call anybody names or dis anyone. I am an Ooltewah fan who loves to watch the Owls play and defend them from people like Golfendude and Footballfan999. I really don't remember anytype of bashing last year before the Symrna game.... Please post all of the bad comments if I had any. I would love to see them...

What did these kids do wrong that they deserve to be kicked off the team and arrested? Seriously... They did not touch a single person. They did not hit or kick anybody.... If there wasn't a fight then these charges would of never happened...

Do you guys think these students would be charged with these charges if a fight didn't happen in the parking lot? The kids who were in the fight got charged as they should of been. My question is why a month later there are charges against the other kids having to do with not leaving school property when asked and starting a riot? To me, if these kids were on the field acting out and trying to start a riot why weren't there anyone escorting them out? I'm not blaming anybody but if the situation was serious enough to charge 6-7 kids then why weren't there anybody to escort these kids?? Yes, the students were wrong for going to the game in the first place and should of known better. But charging these students a month later doesn't seem right to me...

These kids are being charged for not leaving the school when asked. These kids did leave the school and in the parking lot on their way out there was a fight that accurred.... They had video of the fight and there were only 2 kids from Ooltewah that were in it. They were taking care of 3-4 weeks ago. The other players did nothing. Did not lay a hand on anyone. I honestly think this case will be thrown out.... These kids have been punished for their actions and have learned from their mistakes. There are to many people on here that does not know the situation that accusing the administration and coaching staff of not doing their job. If you knew Mr. Foster "Ooltewah's principal" you would know that he doesn't cover anything up. He is very strict on students and has done a great job at Ooltewah. People need not to jump to conclusions...

Other guys to do dirty work for him???? Come on... The siblings that were injured had nothing to do with the beginning conflict. Marshall is not a thug. He has never been a situation like this and has never caused trouble in and out of school. I've seen him grow up since he was in middle school and he is a good kid. You can think what you want but he is a great kid and I bet 99% of people that know him would say the same. I guess all of these kids parents are failures and are just aweful. The whole Ooltewah administration is just garbage as is the football program and coaches.... Please.. You don't know the situation and how it went down. I also didn't say the didn't do anything wrong. They did and everyone knows that...

His name is Jazquez Smith. He is just a sophmore and has been that size since the 8th grade. Freak of nature. Should be D1 prospect in 2 years...

Andre had 31 carries for 200 yards and Marshall had 17 carries for 176. Ooltewah had more total yards than Farragut but the interception and kick off return killed the Owls. There are way to many immature people on here talking non-sense from both teams. This isn't a bashing board.... Please grow up and learn to post with respect.. I guess you guys should also lose respect for the Ooltewah administration and H. County school officials for allowing these kids to play. Obviously if they thought this situation was serious enough to throw these young men off the team or not let them play then they would of. Ooltewah's administration has been known as some of the best in Chattanooga and even the state. Mr. Foster has been a principal for more than 20+ years and knows what he is doing. He is also the head of TSSAA board. Not everyone knows the situation and are jumping to conclusions that the whole team beat up a 19 year old man and his sister when it was 1 football player and a student who actually did. You guys don't know how the situation went down. You don't know if the 19 year old was provoking anything when the Ooltewah kids were leaving. You don't know how serious the confrontation with the players and the Ridgeland adminstration were. Why didn't school officials escort the Ooltewah players out if they were that much of a problem? I'm not saying what they did wasn't wrong but I don't want everyone who doesn't know the whole story to jump on here and say filth about the administration, community, team, coaches and players.

No one is bringing him down... Everyone knows he is a great athlete... If you actually think Marshall is a thug then you really don't know the kid. He has never been in trouble with the administration or coaches. He has never been in trouble with the law until this incident... He did make a mistake and should be punished for it, but he is not a thug at all. He didn't hit anyone or kick anyone....

I do believe these kids should be punished for what they did. I am not at all defending them at all. I just have never heard of anyone being charged for not leaving the campus when told. I'm sorry footballfan999 that you have soooo much hate against Ooltewah. This incident happened and you have tried to run it into the ground and have done so. Now should Ridgeland kids be charged for coming to Ooltewah the following week and starting stuff? These kids did make a mistake and punishment should happen but having a warrant for your arrest for not leaving schools grounds sounds silly to me. Back to the game. Sterling is a great running back and should be a big time recruit. He did run his mouth a little but you know what, some kids do that during a football game. Thats part of it.... I did see him at the end of the game walk straight over to the endzone and didn't shake a single hand. He was the only one by himself and I do think that was selfish. All in all, this was another great region 2-5a showdown and we all need to realize that this is high school football. These are 15-18 year old kids and they will make mistakes just like we all have. Its time to move on from this game and concentrate for next week. Again, both teams played great and should do well in the playoffs. Good luck!

Thanks man... What is a dingleberry? There were no flags thrown with a late hit. After the tackle Sterling got up and and shoved one of the players forcefully. I was right there and saw the whole situation... Why comment about something when you weren't there and didnt' see it?
