  1. Ok, I've got to come out of retirement for this one. I'm also an ex-panther (but not by graduation and not by choice), and I also had the chance to play AAU ball with Andrew House. He's a great guy and a great player. I've seen this boy take over games against some of the best competition in the nation. He was also a great friend to me, and was supportive of me when I got booted from the FRA basketball team. He's a great kid, and will be a good player in college. I look forward to seeing him compete. Well, I'm back to retirement, but I just had to say something about this guy.
  2. darn y'all I was trying to be melodramatic. I didn't really expect any pity for my not posting any more (which I just broke obviously). Y'all need to lighten up a little bit. Y'all take this thing too seriously. I realize it's just a website, and that nobody would miss me posting.
  3. Today I quit my basketball team at FRA. So I have no reason to keep posting on here. It's been a lot of fun, and I'm going to miss the arguments with the NCS fans, and the contreversie that happens here. Basketball was a huge part of my life and it's going to be hard to live without it. I just wanted to say thank you to all the other CoachT posters, because y'all brought a lot of laughter (and some anger lol) into my life. I will continue to check the boards, but I will never post again. And to answer the few people that have asked on here, I was #4 on FRA's basketball team (the bald point guard). I'm gonna miss y'all.....
  4. Wow, you're going to have to simplify these posts. Travesty is WAY to big of a word for this board, lol.
  5. It's their way of trying to mess with a player's head. They do it for the girl's games and girl's soccer too. It's kind of funny, because they'll go crazy as soon as that person touches the ball, but as soon as it leaves their hands, it's dead silence. They usually choose a person who makes some gesture at them. In the past players have flicked them off, talked trash with them, or just gave them a what the heck are you doing look.
  6. Big48Eagle, do you play for NCS? I remember you saying something about a JV game, and I'm just wondering if you still play for them.
  7. Dude, y'all won. Congratulations. It's over. All of this trash talk was stupid. Most of the people talking didn't even have a role in the outcome. Unless you're Jarret Anderson, you shouldn't be talking either. I'll admit he single-handily destroyed us. He's one of the best shooters I've ever played against, and I've played against the likes of Raymond Felton and Rashad McCants. But he's also a very dirty player, but if that wins games, then it doesn't matter. The next game will be interesting when FRA's other two starters (the kids in ties) are back. That doesn't excuse the FRA loss this time around. But I gurantee you they will make a difference. Jarret will not get as many open looks with #3 on him, or if #5 is on him. #15 simply wasn't quick enough to stick with him, but he's used to guarding a traditional post. For ow, congratulations NCS, y'all beat us fair and square. It was one heckuva game, that made for some very entertaining basketball. But let's try to end this trash talk, becuae I know none of us players like seeing it, because it only gives the other team bulletin board material. And for the record, RWEST doesn't go to FRA anymore and COASTERBOARDER is just a fan (he's also a great cross-country runner, but that's a moot point). I would much rather we just play the game and be able to congratulate each other after the game.
  8. I think Corey Brewer had 50 against somebody this year.
  9. Upperman does have at least one good player, Lance Mathis. I don't know of any of the other players.
  10. Are you just just upset because you'll never be half as good as the worst JV runner at FRA?? That's what it seems like. And FRA doesn't need a banner out front, we got plenty in the gym, unlike your second-rate school. FRA has been a dynasty in cross-country, and you stealing it and then bragging about it on here is just a testament to that, and it also spreads the word of how good they are. Go ahead and enjoy it, because it's the only banner you will ever get.
  11. Goodpasture won by one I think. I wasn't there, so could somebody tell me how Goodpasture looked??
  12. What are you talking about dude?
  13. One thing abot going the extra mile.....theres never a lot of traffic

    Are you freaking kidding me?!?!?!?
  15. I just wanted to congratualte David Ford of FRA on his scholarship to Xavier that he will be signing on Monday. Good job David, and congratulations on an outstanding career at FRA.
  16. With Ben Heiland (sp?) and Jake running the point they should be pretty good. Is Phillip looking to get any playing time?
  17. I could beat that team by myself
  18. "Theres no "'I' in TEAM....but there is in WIN" Michael Jordan Not really inspirational, but i think its funny
  19. Coasterboarder: At the point I arrived in the game, Jeff made a very questionable call that surprised me, and that's why I said that. As the game progressed, I saw that he was at least consistent. True, he might have been "consistently wrong" on his calls, but he called it both ways it seemed like to me. Most of all, I'm trying to keep the contraversy here to a minimum, because FRA and DCA already dislike each other. Either way, DCA won....
  20. I'm not going to say who I play for...but I will say that I played them I think twice this summer, once at Eagleville, and once at Wayne County...and both times we blew them out.....and I didn't see them beat ANYBODY either time.
  21. At the district championship, #7 for DCA did in fact stop play to come over and cuss us out. I wasn't yelling anything, because we had a teacher right behind us, and trouble just seems to find me at girls soccer games, haha. But then when DCA was running their post-gama lap, two of their players flicked us all off. And you were right, they were provoked, but they shouldn't have let themselves be affected by students. It took their minds off of the game, which is exactly what the intent was. In that respect, the students won. They did a much better job keeping their cool and composure at the region championship game, and consequently, they won.
  22. again....hahahahahaahaha....we beat them by like 60 this summer
