Someone please tell me how I can upload pictures? I have tried for days to upload and I keep getting messages to contact an administrator or board member. I have shrunk my photos to be well within the 25kb size limit for avatars or 150x150 for personal photos and I have installed the latest Java. One of the reasons I paid to be a plus member was to have these options. Someone please tell me what I am doing wrong. I do not know what else to do. Thanks.

Great post Pedo. Coffee County has tradition and has had success in the past. People tend to forget that. That span of 6 straight winning seasons in the late 60s impresses me the most. I cant remember a streak like that in my lifetime.

The new school in Hamilton County figures to be in the Single A (Under 400 Students) or Double AA (400 - 666 Students) classification. Like many new schools the football team will not be eligible for the playoffs in 2008 as they will be competing with a JV/Varsity schedule. The new football stadium will be built in phases and is expected to hold 1800 fans, have a track, and a field house with a 1400 hundred square foot weight room. The playing surface on the football field may be synthetic turf. The cost of the stadium is estimated to be between 1.8 - 2.4 million dollars. Nearly 90,000 dollars will be set aside for equipment/uniforms etc. With all this being said. Who will the new coach be? An announcement is expected in December. This looks like a possible gold mine for someone as students from Red Bank are expected to be rezoned. Any solid information on candidates will be appreciated. Goodpasture has very nice facilities. The stadium sits very close to a main highway could be the interstate. We played there back in 2003 and 2004 in the first round of the playoffs. We had to take our headsets off because we kept getting truck drivers interference on them. Patrick Turner (Southern Cal Receiver) burned us for about 4 touchdowns in the 2004 game. All in all nice Stadium, classy fans, and a good atmosphere to play a high school football game. Good luck to Coffee County. I think they squeak this one out in an all important game for a possible tie breaker if there were to be a 3-way tie for the Region Championship.

This is what I came up with. 3 teams have a chance to win Region 3. Here are the teams and what they have to do to win Region 3 5A. Coffee County If CC beats Lincoln County. CC wins region. Easiest Scenario out there. But if CC losses to Goodpasture and Lincoln County there is no way CC can win Region with (6-4) record. They would lose tie breaker. And could easily finish 3rd in region. Cookeville If Cookeville beats Lincoln County and Warren County and Lincoln County beats Coffee County. We have a 3 way tie for first. Cookeville (8-2) wins region by tie breaker due to having a better record than CC (6-4) or (7-3) or Lincoln County (7-3). Lincoln County If Lincoln County beats Cookeville then beats Coffee County...Lincoln County would be champs. I hope this is a little easier to understand. Coffee County and Lincoln County both control their own destiny. It is possible for CC to finish 3rd in the region. The Goodpasture game is very important for Coffee County. I'm pretty sure I am correct on all these scenarios but dont carve them in stone just yet. Here are my Predictions on how this will all shake out. 3 Way Tie...(Each team will have one loss in the Region) 1. Cookeville (8-2) (Beats Lincoln County and Warren County) (wins tie breaker with best record) 2. Lincoln County (7-3) (Loses to Cookeville but beats Coffee County) 3. Coffee County (6-4) (Loses to Goodpasture and Lincoln County)

It seems like the wrong questions are being asked here. Instead of asking the question what did Tullahoma do to get this kid...maybe we should be asking this. What did Coffee County not do to ensure that this kid stayed in the system. Maybe the problem lies from within.

Lincoln County has a great tradition. I remember watching Kelly Holcomb play Germantown for the State Title back in the Clinic Bowl days at Vanderbilt. Lincoln County had a really good team about 3 or 4 years ago as well when they lost to Riverdale at home in the playoffs (I was at that game too) That game btw had one of the best atmospheres for a high school football game that Ive ever been to. Back to the point, Lincoln County seems to have lost some of that 1990's swagger. I'm just saying that the past couple of years Lincoln County hasnt been the powerhouse of old. As for the playoff system. I stated that "Thats the way the system is." But being in the playoffs doesnt mean that you are one of the elite teams in the state. It does however allow you the opportunity to fool yourself into thinking you are. But lets face the facts 2-8, 3-7, and 4-6 teams are not anywhere near Tennessees' best. At least I hope it never gets to that point. Can someone do the research and determine how many 6 Team regions there are in all 5 classes? I'm pretty sure that Region 3-5A is the only region in 5A that has 6 teams and most btw have 8 teams, but what about 4A, 3A, 2A, and 1A. I bet there is only a handful.
