Anybody know what time sheffield plays 0n the 26th in the Ridgeway tournament?

Can anyone give any information on Sheffield? Who they have played and results. Also any information on their players.

I would like to know why Ray Stanton for Springfield is not playing right now. Tonight he played like 2 minutes and did not appear to be injured. He also has not been in their last couple of boxscores.

It wasn't postponed it was scheduled for tomorrow all along.

I didn't mean to imply that the other players on Portland's team were bad players, because they are not. I just meant that they were struggling right now which is forcing Brewer to have to do everything. Brewer's supporting cast is more than capable of getting the job done it is just a matter of them doing it. They all play hard, they just need to play smarter and takeadvantage of having a player of Brewer's caliber on their team. I also think some of them have lost a little confidence that they need to regain. They played very well in the preseason and earlier in the season. So to clear up what I meant in my last post was that Corey's supporting cast is playing bad right now and need to break out of the funk that they are in and help carry some of the load.

Folks I've got news for you if Brewer doesn't score Portland doesn't score. His supporting cast is that bad. It's not that he's a ballhog, if he doesn't shoot it almost everytime it is fumbled, kicked and turnedover ever time someone else has to do something with it. Not only does he have to score all the points he has to get all the rebounds and handle the ball and post up and defend the opponents best player night in and night out. So, you all can get on here and call him a ballhog and criticize his shot selection, but just come watch Portland and tell me who you would want shooting the ball every time down the court. Corey will feel like he's died and gone to heaven when he gets to Florida and doesn't have to be a one man team. Trust me Corey could care less about his stats as long as his team wins, but he and the coaching staff feel he must do what he is doing for the team to win. And until someone else steps up and proves that they can get the job done that's the way it's going to be.

Brewer didn't guard the kid with 26 he guarded the 6'7 kid tha tscored 27 the other night and the he was on the point guard at the end of the game and gave him fits before fouling out.

Brewer scored 50 against Harpeth and Murray St. signee Shane Dansby.

I saw MLK play the other night against a severely out manned Macon county team. If MLK is not the best team in 8AA I would hate to see the team that is better.

I saw on another post that Daniel was ejected for pushing a Lipscomb player. Portland is off to a good start after pulling off a hard fought victory against a very tough East Lit. team, that plays very hard and are unbelievably quick. They will be a force in the district once they get Smith back. Portland is 4-0 with victories over Beech, Harpeth, Westmoreland and East Lit.

Yes. SC has an excellent coach. If SC's not competing for tops in the district this year it won't be long.

No doubt, 3gamer, with Renfroe and Ebanks and 6'10" in the middle they will definitely be at the top of 8aa which should at least get them on the honorable mention list.

No it doesn't. It is each individual team's choice whether or not to count it. So what it comes down to to is if you win you are 1-0 if you lose you are 0-0.

All the money from the games goes to the TSSAA to build a hall of fame. You can count the game on your record or not . So pretty much if you win you count it if you lose you don't.

Hall of Fame game. All money from the games goes to the TSSAA for a new Hall of FAme. The games are like exhibition games but you can count them towards your record if you win and not count the if you lose.

Portland is now 2-0 with tonights victory and Tuesday's win over Beech. (Both HOF games so they count as wins for Portland nothing for Beech and Harpeth)

oh by the way Portland won by around 12. They had a 25 point lead when the starters came out. Though in foul trouble Dansby for Harpeth was very impressive. He scored 10 or twelve points in the last minute and a half to make the score respectable. I think he ended up with 20 something.

Brewer drops 51 points grabs 16 boards gets 5 steals dishes out 4 assists and blocks 3 shots. But, oh yeah, all he can do is dunk. Only had 2 dunks on the night.
