You can't tell me that a state championship isn't meaningful. No, I don't wear my ring down here at college, but it is something pretty meaningful. For me, it symbolizes 3 or 4 years of hard work, that culminated in being on the best team in the state...dude

nope, sorry, I've got commitments down here at Auburn that weekend, namely a huge game between us and UGA, so I won't be there. If McCallie makes it to the Clinic Bowl I will be there though...hey, I'm going to IM you sometime and we'll talk about McCallie BA some more...

How about John Hannah? NFL Hall of Famer from Baylor..he might not have been from TN, but he at least went to school in TN. Reggie White definatley deserves it, as does Steve Spurrier, although he wasn't much as a pro. I agree with the comment about Ingle Martin. He was the best athlete I've ever seen on the high school level, much better than the more touted Gerald Riggs Jr., and he's done awesome things in the little bit of playing time he's gotten so far at Florida
