Glad to get this one over. Score was 35-0. WH started substitutions with 7 minutes left in 2nd quarter. I hope Wilson Central doesn't hang their heads. They are a new school that just needs time. They played hard the whole game. I guess it's now time for next weeks opponent to start talking trash. I'm sorry, to continue talking trash. A word of wisdom. Chew your words before you spit them out. There's nothing worse than a mad Blue Devil.(But then again, after 20 years, you should already know )

Been looking at some of the Page posts and they seem to be bickering among themselves.Sycamore can throw the ball a little bit so maybe they can keep the Page faithful fighting and not concentrating on football. Hey Greenbrier fan, BDP doesn't have to mean anything to you, only to us. But if history teaches anything,you should understand everything about your opponent, and that includes BDP. I know you guys have a good team and program, heck, I know most of the plays you're going to run. I also know you can be shut down because it has already happened once this year. Are we as talented as Lipscomb? Probably not.But don't discount BDP.

I'm still withholding prediction until I see how we play against Wilson Central. We need to show marked improvement. It is also first home game. If there are any Bobcat fans out there, are you spending both weeks on Blue Devils or devoting some time to region games. Look forward to seeing some "green" in White House friday nite.

Coachhard....I know Greenbrier will bring the fans. Hope you didn't misunderstand my post. I remember how many fans were at Greenbrier last year. Maybe Springfields players were shellshocked by the crowd. Sounds like their fans had no place to sit. I know it is an advantage when we play the other 4A teams. Teams need that 12th man!

I'll tell you what will be enjoyable about this game.Both schools students and cities will turn out to watch what should be a whale of a game. I know the kids enjoy it more when there are fans on both sides of the field. The excitment of two small town schools playing cannot be described. The move to 4A is not what I thought it to be.We see a few more athletes,even on the weaker teams, but the fan support of most teams is sad.I know our kids notice. I hope there will always be room for games such as this. I don't want a classification to get in the way of what I consider to be the best games on our schedule. Thats the rub. You have to play the region games and really must focus on winning those games. So these are for fun.(All games are fun, but bragging rights come with these)

3amann04, I'm glad you are a fan of someone else's team.I realize good programs are either loved or hated. I'm also proud of the fact that WH fans put money in the program to give our kids every advantage we can. It is the reason we can still compete when perceived talent is thin. Again, please get rid of your bitterness. It's not healthy.

Matter of fact, Bridge, I'll pay your qb a complement. Showed a lot of poise, picked out the right receivers. One day you will grow up and realize that if you don't have anything good to say about people then you should not say anything. I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt that you are young and still learning lifes lessons. THIS IS THE CASE, ISN"T IT?

First of all, Bridge I thought WHHS played a pretty good game last year. Just got beat. Second, you should hope Sycamore can develop the type of program like we have here. Last time I checked, nothing wrong with trying to win. I don't actually understand your post, you do have a young team. It is understandable, you lost a lot of talent last year. And last, I'm not that #82. If I was, you should be ashamed of yourself. There really is no reason to attempt to trash 15-17 year old kids. I didn't do that to your team or an individual on your team. So if your mad, you should be mad at your coach. If he did his homework, he wouldn't put an inexperienced player in that position.

I want to see Whitehouse play Wilson Central first. They need a region win. Whitehouse was very flat against Sycamore and I don't want to take anything away from Greenbrier but I believe Springfield was not as fired up as they were against Whitehouse. Greenbrier has a good team and has two weeks to prepare for Blue Devils. I don't believe Greenbrier can only throw one pass this game or any game once playoffs roll around and expect to win. It will be a good test for both teams.

Hey 3amann04, I really feel sorry for you. Why are you so bitter? You got beat in a sloppy game. I feel bad because you ACTUALLY believe if Sycamore plays that way they will win games! I know that if Whitehouse plays that poorly the rest of the year we will not win again. You also shouldn't comment on Whitehouse fans andor players. It makes you look very ignorant because you mistake pride in a program for arrogence. Are you moving to Greenbrier? You seem to have lots of interest in them. I'll say this again. The WHHS- Greenbrier game will be a good one. The nice thing about that game is, win or lose, either team, it is not a region game. Both teams can use game to get better. I also hope Sycamore wins more games this year. Get over yuor bitterness, you will live a longer and more productive life.

Hey 3amann04, were we watching the same game? Whitehouse put the ball on the ground 4 times between the qb and center. One time a punt was dropped. Didn't see any licks being delivered on those plays. You are right about one thing, if we would have played with "Whitehouse attitude" in the first half, it would have been a 40 point win. As far as your Greenbrier prediction, didn't they get shutout earlier in the year? Whats up with that? On a serious note, the WHHSGreenbrier game should be a good one. Greenbrier is looking for respect and WHHS does have a young team this year. They are similiar to Sycamore-lost 8 starters on defense and 9 on offense. But don't discount BDP. (Thats BLUE DEVIL PRIDE, not Whitehouse attitude)

Bridge-- You shouldn't call people nuts. Your team could play us every game and be 0-10 at the end of the year. Your first TD was the result of two bad penalties and a tipped pass your first receiver didn't hold. We laid the ball on the ground 8 times!!! Not to mention your special team and punt coverage play. Whitehouse has a young team that was ripe for the upset and gave your guys every opportunity. You couldn't take advantage of a Whitehouse team that needs to play at a high level to win games this year. P.S. You were also at home.

Whitehouse played poorly. Many penalties and fumbles. You want to see your best effort every game but after two very emotional games against Portland and Springfield a letdown in intensity usually occurs.

I believe Whitehouse can win this game if they come in mentally prepared. They have played two huge rivals back to back.(PortlandSpringfield) The Springfield game was very physical. In last years game, Whitehouse played a freshman qb because of injury and got no kicking game. The outcome should be different this year.

Overton will win by more than three. Beech will win, but not by 31.

Can someone help me. It was brought to my attention that a coach is ejected if their team receives two personal fouls in a game. I don't believe this is correct. Anybody know?

Springfield is tough up front. They also have good team speed. They were playing at home and were very motivated because Whitehouse beat them twice last year.Whitehuose didn't play a bad game.There isn't anybody that gets more out of their talent than Whitehouse. Springfield could make some noise if their pass defense improves and they can learn how to throw just a little bit. Matter of fact, the outcome could have been different if the punt Whitehouse blocked on their goalline was properly called. Like to see that play on film again. Refs were bad both ways.(Hate to comment on refs) Also made a very bad and gutless call at end of game. Probably wouldn't have affected the outcome, but wierd things had already happened. Whitehouse deserved one last play at end of game.
