MY Middle school team went 4-5.... that is the team that is going to be Sr.'s this year. and the 5 years before my 8th grade year they all had 4-4, and worse records to my knowledge. Look at the past 5 years of Lewis County High School football though, I don't know the records off the top of my head but I'd say they were 10-0 9-1 9-1 10-0 and last years 6-4.... middle schoo doesnt have anything to do with it. Alot of out 8th grade team has since quit, and only a few stayed at it.

no that's not what i'm saying.... but i'm saying if everyone stays healthy they will.... They aren't the same team as they were. And don't play like Camden didn't lose anything, they won't be as good as they were last year.

the fact that they lost no significant defensive starters. They are overall ALOT faster, and bigger. R.E. Mcdonald has made alot out of nothing. He has really improved and gotten in shape for playing this season. If Ryan Grieve wasn't so dumb he would be like David Sharp. He's not smart enough to play QB though, but he has so much athleticism. Look at Hatton's stats from last year, last year he barely had any help with injuries to the line, and no passing game. He will have 1500+ yards if he stays healthy with 10+ TD's because this year speed is all over for Lewis County instead of just in the backfield. By that i mean, in the WR's, and TE's along with Alex having a whole year under his belt, and he is the smartest QB in the Region no doubt. If he doesnt buckle under pressure we will win the region easily.

Alot of Depth again for Lewis County.... Kerry Conkle will lead the way as a Sophomore though for them... with Landon Carroll, Nick Mcclain, and Johnny Jaszewski rounding out the top 4... i forget anyone else that plays...

2 people you won't be able to stop for lewis county on O... Chris Hatton ( Jr.) FB 5'11 200 lbs runs about a 4.7, and Clay Colley ( Sr.) RB 5'11 165 runs about a 4.8.... Hatton was unstoppable last season, and Clay has the moves that will never be forgotten. On Defense we have one of leading tacklers in the state Zach Wright (Sr.) MLB 5'11 180 runs about a 4.8, The same secondary of last year, minus Cramer, plus a line that will be returning to form like they were a couple years ago. Add in Chuck Dodson ( So.), who missed last season with a back injury, who could not be stopped in middle school, and Eric Wright ( Fr.) who is the fastest player on the team, and i say we have a decently experienced team, that will make a title run in the region. I would say they will win the region, but that's my opinion. Now, i have only listed a few names, and i know that doesnt make a team, but they will be tough, i promise.

You have to have 4 players to compete..... Lewis Co. has 2 golfers that didn't play a factor last year that have improved like crazy. Summer averages are like this so far.... 38 39 39 42 43 ..................... not saying that's good, but for us this will be the best year we ever have, besides the state championship back in the 60's. From the same district.... Wayne Co. lost one player, but last year they had no depth after the 3rd seed. We will see if they had anyone step up and improve. But Andy, and Brady are solid #1 and 2's

Gaylon Cude(Sr.) from Hickman Co. is good.... Crews Barber from Lewis Co. ( So.) is also good, Andy Beckham (Sr.) from Wayne Co. is good.... Gaylon may be the only great one, but that sophomore from Lewis Co. is going to be a goood golfer! I don't really know anyone out of the middle tennessee area though.

So is the district tourney over? if so who won? if not who's playing?

Garrett Ammons is PURE, he's a junior, and the MVP for Lewis Co. I think he has thrown out 19-23 runners, not bad if i had to say.... along with a pretty high BA and 4 or 5 homers... not bad at all

i expect a full report from Pageman, but Garrett Ammons hit is 4th or 5th HR of the season, congrats

Finally startin to roll.... Lewis County beats Loretto 3-2 tonight gettin their 2nd district and 2nd overall win in a row. Brett Frazier pitched.... Clay Colley went 3-4 and Zach "Moe" Wright also did well at the plate. good job keep it up

When i said Mt.Pleasant was tough, i guess i was mistaken.... just playing. Lewis Co. kind of beat up on them a little bit today from a few player sources.... i was there until about 340 (as mt.pleasant was showing up) when i got a phone call saying to get home. I was received at home with closed arms and an earful from my mother ultimately resulting with my keys and cell taken up. It goes to show you, you can think you're on top, and devastatingly be brought down to reality by a parent! To my knowledge it was a sweep by the boys in singles play. maybe when i get all growed up i will be able to attend an after school even without checking in all the time, but until then i will be confined to 168 hours of servitude on the internet lol.... don't you just love being a minor and under the power of someone else? until next time, stay classy coacht people..."i love you bye"

Lewis Co. hasnt really been blown out this season, they've had maybe 2 games that they got beat bad, but all the rest have been pretty close.They have been winning games in the 5th inning and have made errors and blown the games. ALOT of games....

I hope so, they are pumped.....

Lewis Co. finally held it together, and had a perfect ending to the game.... Mike Andrews hit a homerun to end it early. Garrett Ammons also hit his 3rd HR of the year. Congratulations Lewis Co. Let's see if this carries on to the rest of the games of the year. Blake Sullivan also wonderfully pitched for Lewis Co. Good job

I wasnt braggin about it... just stating.... he did in fact get tossed, and a 2 game suspension was handed down. but Lewis Co. did beat fairview 3 times in bball i think.... maybe not correct but i believe so.

Lewis Co. has 2 wins.... and the catcher for FV got KILLED by the full back.
