Yes you are wrong. They will never be "the best team in the state" until they play the big boys...Brentwood Academy, MBA, Maryville etc. They are the defending 5A Champions, but that does not neccessarily make them the best in the state. Sry for the mistake, lemme restate myself if your going to get technical. You cannot put down one team for losing one game when before they had won 19 striaght. This loss may possibly be the break Riverdale needed to get some of the pressure out of their upcoming games. They are and will be the best team in 5A until someone elimates them from the playoffs. so until that happens, enough of this "Riverdale Who?" crap that everyone is talkign about

After losing by 31 dont you think Blackman will work twice as hard this upcoming week at practice to be prepared for Riverdale's offnese? :confused:

how can u call yourselves a great team after 3 or 4 games. the season hasnt even begun to get under way yet with more than half left. talk again after you make it to the playoffs and do somehthing there

Thats true but to go from letting in 14 points to a team that they shouldnt have let score possibly at all to come back and shut out blackmans offense is something to be recognized. Whith players like cody green, zach anderson, brad christianson, and many more to be named they are gonna be tough

After the events that have taken place on the 13th, what are everyones views on the top 10 or so teams in the state after week 3??

What about Franklin. As they still havent played to their total ability yet they have done an excellent job. And everyone seems to be leaving out centennial. They havent played a great team yet but any defense that can put up a shutout against any team is something to talk about. Like i said, they havent played any good teams yet so we will see how they put up with brentwoods hot offense this coming friday :confused:

What was said that was so unappropriate. I did nothing but state the obvious. I agree both teams were well prepared and both teams are good teams. However, we all know that Riverdale is down this year as well as a lot of teams. If you can argue that then please do so. Coach Thompson and Coach Rankin both are great coaches with great programs. If there was anything said that is not obvious then reply. But I never said that Riverdale was not contenders. I simply said that if Edminston continues to play well that we were. The fact of the matter is that Edminston is the most talented qb in the state. How many times do you see a six foot two inch; 215 pound qb who has 4.4 speed and an arm like his. The "fact" is that if he continues to mature in this offense then the rest of the state has to watch out because he will be impossible to stop! By the way going into Friday night he was the second leading rusher in the state. He was also the best athlete on the field Friday night and that cannot be argued with! Franklin sure found a way to stop him. You have any excuses about that game?

In no way was i attempting to brag about franklins success, only trying to findout what everyone though. They still have nothing to brag about with 6 regular seasons games ahead of them, with 5 of them being region games. No team has nothing to brag about until the season is over

Only game i have a thought about is centennial/brentwood and ive got brentwood with a win of 35-13... Good luck to both teams.

whos to say that that one player wouldve or couldve made a difference in that one particular game? just because u may be the best person on the team, which i dont think is possible becuase without the help of the o-line a running back cant get anywhere even if he is the fastest person in the state, or the quarterback wouldnt be able to throw the ball beccause he would have 8 or 9 guys breathing down his neck. So all of these excuses people make about they lost because their best player wasnt there is all wrong. Football is a team sport that cannot be played without ten other guys around you.

If u thought franklin wasnt for real before friday night, what do u think now?? If you can think of any other team that has bounced back from a 6-5 season after losing in the first round of playoffs last year 35-0 or so, to start the seaon out 4-0 with everyone talking smack about em not givin em any respect telling em there gonna lose by two touchdowns and coming back to win 31-0, reply and lemme know cuz that is one ofthe mose amazing tasks ive ever seen in high sschool football. :confused:

How in the world can any team be all hyped up about being 3-0 when you havent played a good team yet(not to put down page) but we will see how good you are next week at brentwood
