Here is a story for all those sports fans out there... READ THIS!!! The current school board fired... sorry, pushed former director Mr. Gibbs to resign. They forced him out in the middle of a contract. THE BOARD STILL IS PAYING HIM BECAUSE HIS CONTRACT ISN'T UP!!!!!! I'm not a math wizard but if I worked this right... If you combined all the coach's pay, doubled it, you still wouldn't have Mr.Gibb's "sit at home pay". Nothing at all against Mr. Gibbs he is a good guy and was a great director. This is just to show everyone how wasteful the board is! The board clearly doesn't have you children in mind! REMEMBER THIS IF ANY OF YALL GO TO A BOARD MEETING!!!!

2cool4school, If you are talking about sycamore talking smack about cheatham in football being the reason they lost you must be "retarded" 95% of the trash talk in that game was done by Cheatham and they still won it had nothing to do with "Karma" the best team won just as it always occurs the best team never loses in my opinion the best team is the team that wins the game it has nothing to do with karma or bad refs or how good a team normally plays or any other b-s reason someone makes up to hide the fact that they lost. And lets say that just by chance there is something to your Karma theory when did it become "good" karma to call a group of people "retarded" In closing if you dont like reading the post on these boards then dont read them no one forces them on you.

I have all the respect in the world for Greenbrier and i would love nothing more than to see the winner of this game to go on and win the state championship although i will have no choice but to be partial to Sycamore this time. I believe that this game could come down to nothing more than penalties and turnovers whoever has less wins. This should be a fun game to watch with Sycamore's big play offense and Greenbrier's ground attack.

Sycamore is about 20 miles north of Nashville.

Sycamore fans are working hard to get a pep bus to make the long drive to Jackson. We are trying to gather donations to help cover the expenses of the bus. As of right now with 50 people going it will cost each person about $17 so hopefully we can get a few local sponsors so that we can come support our team. With or without a pep bus I am sure there will still be a considerable amount of fans to show up to support our team.

How sad is it that Mcgavock not being able to accept a loss turns out this way. Is the kid at question the only reason they have won any games? I think not. The kid is having a hard enough time as it is with his parents getting divorced and then TSSAA does this to the poor guy. The way i see things if he lives in a house that is in the area zoned to go to Gallatin and he recieved official permission to play then there is nothing that should be done. They way i see things TSSAA is equally at fault by granting him permission to play there for they should be punished at well. canceling the wins in which he took part in is definetly the wrong punishment in this case. If TSSAA has half a brain then i would think they would see things the same way. Goodluck Gallatin and i hope that you find a way to overcome this abuse of the system.

Great we now have a Sycamore version of ClamClam and i think that by saying that sycamore will go down in history for rushing and passing yards is a very CLamClam like comment perhaps you've learned anything by seeing how his comments alone are enough to fuel our entire school to want to kill him So i suggest that in the interest of Sycamore that we just continue to let the Cheatham ClamClam be the only moron on this thread

Josh Garza(top 15 passing and top 20 rushing) and Shay Williams(top 5 midstate recieving) are big time playmakers for Sycamore.

Way to go You BIG STUD!!!!!(ClamClam) You are going to have to realize that although Garza is a key player he is not Sycamore's whole team and they proved last friday against Giles Co. that they are very effective with or without him. Although I do realize that Cheatham is a better football team than Giles. If all you have to base your facts on is a JV game and a better record then you are in for a big surprise come friday night. Every year there is some arrogant Cheatham player who THINKS that they are going to kill sycamore and every year Cheatham has fell short of "THE POWDER KEG" granted this is a new year and a new team i still have confidence that Sycamore will be able to pull out the win once more. But i am not going to make myself look like an idiot like someone else on this board(clamclam) has so i will not post some outrageous score on what i think will happen in this game. Judgement Day is coming and i hope that you can back up your big mouth(clamclam).

Cheatham County has a very good team this year but they(mainly ClamCLam) seem to have a bad habit of underestimating teams. ClamClam seems to judge how well a team is souly on their record sometimes that is fine but there are other times where you should look at other factors. Perhaps you would like to look at just a few details for starters the 4-3 Sycamore team's strength of schedule ranking is #8 in 3A where as the 6-1 Cheatham team is ranked somewhere on the lines of #41 in 2A. Unlike ClamClam i realize that those rankings are nothing but a poor excuse my point is that dont judge a team by there record or some silly ranking. Sycamore as well as Cheatham have great football teams this year and this will be a very good game but I am putting my money on Sycamore once again. The only thing sycamore has to do is play physical and dont let mental mistakes hurt them as badly as they have in the past. GOOD LUCK SYCAMORE beat Giles and your in the playoffs for the 4th consecutive year!!!!

ClamClamChowder WHO ARE YOUI'd like to see just how good you are that you feel you can say the things you do because you continue to add fuel to Sycamore's fire. There is always some Cheatham County player who is ignorant and arrogant enough to give Sycamore an endless list of reasons to want to destroy them and in every year the 2 teams have played cheatham has successfully proved that they have no room to talk in a negative way about Sycamore. Being a Sycamore fan i willing to realize that Cheatham has a good team and i wish them well in there season but Sycamore is definetly not the push over you(clamchowder) seem to think we are. It is my opinion that sycamore will be able to pull out the win when the time comes but right now i guarantee Page is their number one priority which will be the game to watch in 5-3A this week Good luck sycamore and i hope to see you go far into the playoffs

I am proud of Sycamore for pulling out a good win over a as always good whitehouse team. the game was dominated by sycamore as they were able to capitalize on whitehouse mistakes and they also kept from beating themselves with penalities as they did in the rossview game I hope to see them go far into the playoffs this year good luck sycamore and stay focused for next weeks game against mont. cent
