region4fan..remember michael is in a system where the ball is ran most of the time...however i do think the coaches will balance the game more this year..if teams start putting 8 or 9 in the box then things will change because thats smart football......he is still the leader no matter what!!!!!!! the run game is very good and we all have to repsect that...the run game will continue to get better....this team has to continue to get better..michael has to continue to get better...they need to be sharp and consistent every friday night....to me being consistent is scoring everytime u get the ball and stopping the opponent everytime they get the ball....if u can't do this u need to continue to get better..these steps will make u a great team.....this is special teams included.....

I will add to your statements i have being saying all summer that michael has very good supporting cast around him...it has been there for the last 2 years but some of the kids are ready now after a 2 year learning curve....michael has to continue to be patient and let the game come to him....when his number is called read the defenses and get his team in the right situation to move the ball....his offensive line has done very well early and he does not have to run out of the pocket...he is prepared for whatever comes his way...he is alert.... Go falcons!!!!!

I agree with your statements falconstatsman, coaches have to put their foot down on players today....some kids get away with to much.... For the most part in LC, we are lucky to have pretty good kids and trouble stays away.......this gives the coaches their opportunity to coach and not worry about all the other junk.......... What is your opinion will this be the closing year for louis thompson or will he continue?

i hope u are speaking loud about stopping the run...it will be very hard stopping the run game that LC is bringing to the table... LC can balance on offense and cause some major problems for defenses... I will give u an invitation to the pit early this week..... If LC get back to the basics this week and continue to improve they should play well against blackman...

yes there has been alot of nay-sayers about louis thompson but not because he is not a good coach.... some fans from the outside looking in thought louis was not coaching hard enough he has been around awhile and he probably tired but he gave us his best and this year if this is his last he will give it to us alittle better....i have heard from the lc players they want him to go out on top if his decision is near.....

Now hold up just a second. My fellow Franklin fans can't pick the game to be 42-14 in favor of the Rebs but you can pick it 35-17 in favor of Linoln County? Get a clue man, this will be a close battle. It will not be a landslide either way. Also, while we have a great RB, our speed is really evident in our receivers who don't have to get out of the backfield. As long as Solima can get it to them (and he can) they'll do great things. Look for a high amount of yards after the catch from Murray, Nichols, Bell, etc etc. I don't htink you'll be able to get enough pressure on the QB to prevent a couple big plays from our WRs. And yes, Coach Thompson might very well get outcoached. Tim Johnson is quite a smart coach and he's great assistants surrounding him. Not everyone is lucky enough to have a successful former head coach as your offensive coordinator. Johnson and Danny Nowell as head coaches have the two best years in Franklin football. They know what they're doing. time will tell lc has a very good football team and these kids are hungry!!!!! we have a solid defense!!!

now i am ready to comment lincoln county will not loose to franklin friday night lc is a very physical team on both sides and louis thompson will not get out coached franklin may have speed but that speed has to get out of the back field remember this statement and take it to heart..... i think lc will be much to strong up front for the rebels.. falcons 35 rebels 17 enough this is the pit action respect it.... see ya friday night..................in the pit

no the game was not a fluke last year..lc had a 140lb tailback in the game and he fumbled the ball on the one yard line going in for the win... we will not forget that one next friday.. the falcons will be pumped up and ready to roll i am getting ready to leave and go watch the falcons scrimmage dickson county at lincoln county this evening at 6pm..

lincoln county can run the ball very good at this point.. this is a good sign 2 weeks before the opener.. they have some very good looking soph. lineman that can play this year..they are pretty deep as far as manpower the experience is not there...these kids look like they have seen football..the middle coaching was pretty good...

good quotes lcstatman...lincoln county has a few more athletes this year..they could put together a very good run... i think this team is loaded with receivers, we should be able to spread some defenses out this year and take them to school.. if this team can pass the ball well they will clearly dominant!!!!

the baylor camp was very good..most of the teams there got some work done for the most part.. the 6 way scrimmage lincoln county was clearly the best team there and some.. i am very surprised the first few threads on here did not mention lc but once.. what a surprise..lincoln county's horses did not play much in the scrimmage games today and they still looked better than all the teams....some games the jv played the entire 30minutes.....

lets remeber franklin fans we traveled to you twice last year to play you friday night..rained out and came back saturday and played.. we fumbled the ball on the one yard with seconds on the clock to win the game.. we have not forgotten have we? we will be different this year levels better and very athletic at every position this game will be different.. my opinion is david wolke has thrown the ball alot more than most tenn QB's..thats why he is ranked... edmiston from lc and also other QB's will shine...they have more support around them.. smyrna throw the ball every down... no choice

yes it is true lincoln county is in a weak region...i feel lc should have never got moved out of your region.. i feel the moves where made to generate more money around the boro teams.. i think smyrna and lc should switch regions.... i still say we have a shot this year!!!! we love coming to the boro see ya in sept.
