There is no one around that can hang with them. So, dont give me all that crap. They dont have to go to Tyler Smith to win the game for them. If Tyler doesnt get 25-30 in a game, that means that Eric Howard or Tristin Fletcher had around 20-25. So, this obviously means that Giles has far too many offensive weapons for anyone to deal with. They have so much talent on their team, they're b-team could beat just about anyone's varsity! They are too quick, to smooth, and to good for anyone. Just about every team they have played this year has endured the same resolution......death from above. What makes yall think they're gonna stop now??? :confused:

I went to the Giles/Cheatham Co. game tonite and had a very good time. Giles played great as always, and Smith had some awesome dunks. I have been going to the Giles games all year, just to watch all their talented athletes. I have been thoroughly impressed with Tyler, Kash, Eric, and all the guys. Tonite after the Loretto game was over, I caught Tyler's attention and got his, Kash's, and Travis Gentry's autographs. They were very nice to me, and I am now more of a Giles County basketball fan than ever. They gave me their John Handcocks, and proceeded to joke around with me. I really had a lot of fun tontie talking to all those guys. The reason I am saying all this is becuz I would like to know if I can come hang out with the Giles student section thursday nite for the championchip game. If yall feel like it would be weird letting an outsider hang with yall, thats fine. I understand, but I really am a big fan of yalls program, and would just like to get involved more than I already am. I think yalls student section is very creative and funny, and I would just like to be in the middle of all of that. I guess all of this sounds weird, but I would just like to get involved with yalls ball program. I'm not a weirdo, or a freak, so dont trip about that kinda stuff. If yall know Taylor Roberts, ask him about me. Hes a friend of mine....anywho, I would really like to hear back from yall. Wneely, or rp44, post back and let me know man. Thanks...

sorry about the "district" thing. lol. it's late. I was behind the scorekeepers. I'll prolly be at every Giles game from here on out, so look me up whenever you get a chance. I liked the little comment the other day about Mr. Clean...nice one. lol

Page....by a couple. not too much, but it was a good game all around.

Oh my god! that game was awesome! I was thinking that Giles was gonna come away with it, but a last second shot by #14(i think) put page up by one. Man, that was a heartstopper! I think the main reason that Page came away with it was becuz they played mistake-free basketball. Their passes were great and their shot selection was good for the most part. Giles had a few turnovers around the 2nd and 3rd quarters, but they all played very well also. Great game girls, yall had me on my feet and I dont even go to either school!

this in regards to the chant that giles' student seciton was making about wes bosheers....when has someone ever been a "wanksta" for wearing a headband? i didnt know that wearing a item of clothing to keep your hair from bouncing in your face or to help stop sweat from dripping all over your face indictated that you were a "wanksta". just wondering...

Yall aint stoppin nothing. There isnt a team in this district that can hang with giles. you keep thinking that you can...but in the end...its gonna be the same resolution as has been for almost every other team they've played this year.....death from above.

There was no stomping involved. that was the best that Loretto has played Giles all year, so dont give me that. For yall it may seem like you stomped the crap out of us, but that was a respectable preformance from our guys. Jason Casteel played great, and so did Micheal Kendrick, at least in my opinion. Plus, the calling was a little lop-sided, if you ask me. Not that it would have made any difference, but there still was a bunch of calls that should have been called on both sides of the ball. Anyways...Giles played great, (as always) and I think that Loretto played great too. I had fun watching. Good luck to Giles as they head towards state. Good game Mustangs

What are some of the sweetest, nicest, and just all-around greatest moves you've ever seen in high school game? I know that when Loretto plyed Giles @ giles, it wasnt a nice game for loretto, but Micheal Kendrick had the sweetst lay-in I've seen. He drove the lane between Eric Howard and Tyler Smith, brought the ball around him behind his back and reversed it of the glass. Sweetness... Post some of the things yall have seen that made your mouth drop.

Who are supposed to be some awesome upcoming freshmen in middle tn in the upcoming season? Give me some stats too....weight, heighth, that kinda thing...thanks.

For everyone thats hatin on this kid.....shut up. This kid has more talent than anyone I have ever seen around here. Who cares if he doesnt have that good of a jumpshot at the moment? If he's scoring 25-30 consecutively, I dont think that a 10-ft. jumper should be his key worry. The first time I saw this kid play, I couldnt believe my eyes. He has more raw talent than anyone I've seen. Period. And before all of yall start saying that I'm just talking like this becuz I go to school with him or sumthin like that...I dont. I'm from the great city of Loretto. I have been to more Giles games this year than I've been to my own schools games! That might sound a little pathetic, but if its a crime to go to a ball game to watch someone like Smith..oh well. for all the Tyler haters...they kid is awesome. There is no denying it. And if its a sin for him top showcase his God-given talent....so be it.

Aside from the refs and the calls and the crowd, aside from everything....that was the greatest ball game I've ever seen played. I know I might sound dumb saying it, but it was to me. Anywho...great game to both teams. I dont think i can ever remember seeing a game of that magnitude right in front of me.

Great game the other nite girls! Yall played your hearts out, and well....surpsied a lot of people, including me! Great game to giles also, who played with the same intesity as our girls did. As for the remark about our girls and LCHS's girls...I agree with the post above mine. In about 2 years, I see Loretto with more talent and a better all-around team than LCHS. The freshmen class at loretto are very string this year with Jana Cross, Leah Stone, Jessica Green, and Nikki Reed. But, L'burg also has great players in Brittany Rochelle and Sarah Shumate. I look to see some awesome games my senior year in girls bball. Anyways, back to the game....is #45 really a sophmore?(the really tall girl from giles)She really has a lot of talent. Anywho...great game to both teams and keep up the good work.

Yeah, I guess it will be more of a rebuilding year than anything, but I'm confident that we'll do alright.

I'll be a junior next year and not sure on my position yet. Me and Beau Whitsett will probobly swtich out at tailback, but I'm gonna play wingback too, so I guess I'll find out come spring.
