All you Tennesseans, I just saw Oak Hill Academy play last night in the DC Dunkfest in Dumfries, VA. Man the whole team is SICK!!! Every player on that squad has D1 potential. Tywon Lawson is one of the best PG's in the country (also one of the quickest) and big man Michael Beasley is a beast. He can do just about whatever he wants to down low. And before the game, Oak Hill put on a dunk exhibition in warm ups, before the refs came on the court. Some of the best dunks I have ever seen.

smyrna has NO seniors on their team. all of the players who played on the freshman team that are in the class of 2006 have either moved or stopped playing basketball. they should be better next year though, they will have all players returning and they younger players will be much more improved.

if he does go 2 prep school he should go to hargrave military academy in chatham, va. this is the same school that tyler smith goes to. this school constantly churns out D1 players in basketball AND football

All yall folks in TN prolly got regional coverage of Texas A&M and Clemson on ABC last night, but me, up here in VA, I was able to see the Notre Dame, Pittsburg game last night. At the end of the game, David Wolke got some PT. He did pretty good considering that all he did was hand the ball off a few times and kneel it down at the end of the game. Hopefully, if Notre Dame beats more people the way they did Pitt, we might be able to see Wolke get more action.

Maybe he should just go ahead and play for Austin Peay. He could probably be a star there wouldn't have to worry about academic troubles since obviously he is a good student. With those numbers, he would probably be an average student at Vanderbilt, but at AP, he would probably be one of the top students.

Yeah out of all of them I think that Coach Carter is the best one maybe becuase it is one of the newest and it also relates to what many kids go through today. It's the best basketball movie I have seen. Hoosiers aint all that good to me because it's real old. Coach Carter was good because it's new and it really gets on the young people's level.

yea that movie was off tha chain. not only did it have great basketball action it had issues in the movie that many athletes in high school sports have to deal with today. i was kinda dissapointed that Samuel L. Jackson didn't show his true self in the movie. This should have been in the movie: Reporter: Do you think that the players with bad grades deserve to die? Samuel L. Man I moved from Smyrna to Virginia, 30 miles from the murder capital of the US, Washington DC, and we play games at schools like Anacostia and Dunbar, which are in the worst parts of DC. These things happen all the time up here. And I'm tired of all this "typical Smyrna" stuff fa real man. Y'all act like Smyrna is a more dangerous place than Murfreesboro when Murfreesboro has projects and everything. Smyrna really isn't a bad town I lived there almost all my life and things like this have only happened like once or twice. Stop making judgements about things if you have never lived in Smyrna fa real man.
