Columbia lost by 2 I think it was 71-73

Can someone please confirm if there is a game between Mt Pleasant and Springhill on February 5th

Last time I checked Lincoln Cty has lost a district game. So if Columbia lose, that's a big IF, they will be tied for 1st.

I agree, Columbia Central Lady Lions has made history this week, but do you think the fans came out. My thing is that if you are not going to support the school, during regular season, then please do not come out tournament time and offer your opinion about the team and find fault in the coaching staff. Come tournament time we have more coaches from the bench, who has a lot to say, but where were they when the girls and boys were playing during regular season. Support the kids all the time, not just tournament time. Sometimes kids play better when they have crowd support. So now I will urge the Columbian to invite friends, family, anyone to Columbia games, even if you have to pick them up and bring them yourself. Go out to businesses, and tell them good things are happening at Central with the girls and boys team and that they need support.

If Coach Young would knock down the Kinzer boy attitude, the team might could pull together. Someone needs to tell him that he is not Allen Iverson.

first of all wbbforlife, you need to get your facts straight. Nancy lived in unionville, and second, she was adopted by her foster parents in Columbia. And the fact of the matter is that she came to Columbia, before Coach Moore was even a coach, so there was not any recruiting happening. Don't worry, I sure the little general has a plan on who he wants to recruit in the future.

That would be Campbell, I think and I am not for sure it is their athletic director.

I need some clarification when it comes to "greed" on who part? The coaches or the players! Because I know a little about the players and they weren't greedy nor were the parents, they wanted what was due to them as would anyone when you give up as much money as the coaches wanted for their organization. The coaches on the other hand had greed in their eyes just for the simple fact that they didn't want to hold on to a team that would have probably did great this year, instead they opt to go to the Blackhawks and they didn't even try to set the girls up with other teams. The teams came looking for the girls. And the bad part about it the coaches wants the old team back and if I were them, I would never return.

Considering that they got put out, it seems as if they dissed the wrong girls at the wrong time. Word has it that the coach cleve wants to have a reunion, it just goes to show that the grass is not always greener on the other side.

What happen to the 15u Tennessee Tiger Select, they were suppose to be comprise of the top 15 best girls in the state of Tennessee? Did those Memphis girls really believe the hype that Coach Catfish Ross and Cleve was telling them?

No the teams weren't national contenders, some shouldn't have been there in the first place. And they said St Louis would be there Sat (supposingly they talked to them) but I guess we couldn't call them a liar because they didn't say what Saturday! As usual anything that happens in Shelbyville, is always blowed out of porportion. Earlier post they had enough teams that the 15 would be able to stay in there league, they played our 17's. Sportshop had people playing that is not on their 15 AAU team. But everyone knows they are above the rules. It was just a bunch of crap.

This tournament was a joke! All the so called good teams that were suppose to show up. The tournament was suppose to be loaded with good teams (Not) I tried to tell you in earlier post to not fall for the gustO. Showtime obviously you're not as popular as you may think.

Ross Jordan, got just what he deserve- a good old fashioned butt whooping. And I agree with the previous post, Pride should have won the game earlier, but free throws cause them the game. And as for the Tennessee Tiger Select team (except for Casey Pique and #50) the team as a whole has some of the nastiest attitudes, right along with the the coach (Ross) looking like father nemo. He hate to lose! But I love that he lost. So until Tennessee Tiger Select team change their nasty attitudes, I am cheering for Shelbyville and Pride.

I see the teams for the north middle on the tn girls aau website, but do anyone know who the teams are in the west and the players that are playing??????

I know a 15 year old in Columbia that is looking for a team to play with also that has 5 years experience with AAU and can play just about any position

I think its a shame that every game picture happens to be posted but Columbia, is this something personal, because if you're going to do it for one team, you should do it for everyone!!!!

being in the same district with Shelbyville has no value, whatsoever, he just get tired of parents that do not let him coach the way he wants to coach.
