  1. wneely, gosh just think, there is no such thing as "if they won't send them back", you would think that this is your first year dealing with the substate, of course they will bring them back. Why don't everyone in Giles County get a life! The tickets will be sold on Monday.
  2. Pope and Woods - Lawrenceburg Bullock and Ross- Columbia Asberry and Haynes- Oakland Newman, Fuller, Cannon, Houston-Shelbyville
  3. If Giles County get out of the pig pen and buy a barn then maybe you wouldn't be having this argument.
  4. Bullock had 20 Ross had 9 Moore had 5 and I don't recall the rest
  5. Can anyone tell me how to get a copy of the All District Tournament team of the girls, I think they said that it was going to be in the Sunday's paper?
  6. You may as well say that the only players College recruiters(Coaches) give scholarships to come from AAA only. Your statement is not a valid one! That is not what I am saying at all. I am not a college recruiter and I would just like to see the players broken up by division. A college recruiter is going to look at whom she or he thinks can help their team out.
  7. I think you need to break this down to division (A, AA, AAA), surely someone you think is good in AA, may not be so good if they were playing in the AAA.
  8. Believe me, I might have had the years wrong but fellows I am all for Columbia, don't think I am against them.. I am waiting for their time to get there true potential spot in the District. Go Columbia! I will be rooting for them MOnday!!!!
  9. IF Wild thinks Lawrenceburg can beat Shelbyville then he should have brought his girls into the game playing harder than they did, fact of the matter is he didn't want to come in 3rd and Columbia was just playing around like he did, and speaking of those terrible missed free throws, what about the fact that Lawrenceburg layups was thrown completely across the boards. So don't think Columbia was coming determined to lose but I couldn't blame a coach to think smart and not let her girls think that they were really beating up on poor Lawrenceburg, who was coming into the game ready to lose. The plan backfired on Lawrenceburg, Columbia is happy to make it as far as they have, the first time in probably 10 years.
  10. To answer Willywild 98 question, I kinda suspicious of the game last night also, Lawrence Cty fans was not in it and the coach was to laid back it was almost as if he was trying to lose. Spann have never miss a easy lay up like she did last night and she wasn't even trying to play. Woods wasn't really it and the game was just down right boring. The only fans that was cheering were from Columbia.
  11. Being a neutral person, I was at the game and I think it was rather obvious that the referee's wasn't right. It was like Shelbyville does not foul. The Eagles, being the dominant team that they are, shouldn't need help from the referees, it seems as if Columbia was playing 5 against 8, then the second half, fouls that should have been called the 1st half was call against Shelbyville. Now in the state, that is where you are going to find the referees that don't give a ---- about Insell.
  12. Everyone should have known that the children can stoop as low as the father. I wouldn't waste anymore time with the subject and Shelbyville will meet a team that will finally shut their mouth and put them in their place (a trash can)
  13. farside, if you have seem lawrenceburg play the really just have one dominant player so if the rest was overlooked oh well the votes are in so the subject is close
  14. It is how you play during the year not the parents and fans votes. Your coach turn in the nominations and between those that was nominated maybe the ones that was pick was the better player.
  15. Go figure! Maybe she is the only one that has been productive this year.
  16. What happened to Keisha Summers playing last night?
  17. Enough with this Shelbyville crap, WHO Cares
  18. Only thing I can say is that Jackson better hope that they do not have Insell handpicked referees. In their house you can't touch them but you better believe they can do anything to their opponents. I hope you put them to sleep with the arrogant attitudes they display.
  19. Sorry wneely but you didn't sit in that area, because it is Columbia area you sit in the opposite area of the gym the far left side of the gym and that's what you need to remember the next time you come to the Lion Den.
  20. In the first place, Columbia has a section for the visitors and that is where the mod squad should have sit. And second, the lions den was not your house, if you had a house as half as big as the lions den, then you can talk. We are not going to let you come in our house and take over, sit where the visitors is suppose to sit..... When we come to your house, half of us can not even get in the chicken coop!
  21. Dear coach graves, How about calling Coach Collie and ask him for some advice? I am sure his number is in the phone book.
  22. The Tennessean has a listing of scorers, is this list accurate?
  23. papati, what's the deal with Stewart, I know she can be a pistol at times? But what's up with her not starting 2 games? Was she sick or what?
  24. Duh! It is obvious Columbia came to play and it is called DEFENSE! Maybe Page should have played a little and the outcome would have been different. And I recalled, I think she started all the talking first and then Columbia jumped on the bandwagon and when it is all done and said, it really doesn't matter the scoreboard showed the real deal.
