yes chuck is playing for Twin Springs, he saw limit action for them last friday night due to the fact that he didnt become eligible until the day of that game. i talked to him last night and he says he should get decent playing time this friday night. they are playing chilhowee and apparently that is a pretty tough team. game is at home.

ok now, i have a question. chhs or someone who knows the rules check this one out for me. on that last out of bounds play with 4 seconds to play. since they inbounded the ball and the clock never did stop, isnt Volunteer supposed to retain the ball and everything that happened since the inbound is void? because earlier in the game when that happened to Cherokee they got the ball back with no time off the clock.

ok first of all Browder. I take insult to your comments about the jv program at East. if i recall, you have started more jv games this year than me. when u think about it, if they did away with the jv program's u would never play a single minute. Rectal Brown is propably the most underrated jv player @ East. Everyone should come to the tournament and watch him play. Daniel Byington is strong on the boards as well the 3 pointer. you are in for a treat.

i dont know about how your all's feelings are on the subject but i would like to see the team with a tad bit more discipline. i was talking with some of last years team and they pointed out the same mistakes i did. coming off the field and throwing your helmet? last year if we threw our helmet's coaches were all over us. i seen the same players doing it 2 or 3 times, senior players at that. walking up to the line when u break out of huddle? it was only the 2nd quarter u cant be that tired or u shouldnt be playing. and the worst of all was 1 player i noticed walking off the field after a punt play. Greeneville's offense was walking up to the line and he still hadn't got off the field. Im sure the senior's try their best but when your telling people not to do things u cant turn around and do them yourself.

i heard one of the adults approached chuck at the CHMS game today and said that falcons were talking about losing, well, im not a falcon player anymore. just to clear things up, i dont want any confusion, it will be a great game. should be a high scoring game as well. I hope c3 can dial up flem like against central and u never do know...falcons could beat the devils. have they ever beaten them!?

Ive heard talk about the team possibly shaving some heads this year in memory of our friend cj. i think its a pretty good idea, but as some of u know a shaved head just wouldnt like right on this redhead of mine

i surely hope you arent saying sevier county has a great field. it is so sloped if you are on the sideline you can barely see the other team. Greeneville has a nice stadium but the field is lacking when it comes to the big slope in the end zone. the castle would have to be my favorite stadium of all however.

ok first VHS2003 is a girl, so be careful what u say. second, the male cheerleader is Robby Kilgore. Ya people might make fun of our male cheerleaders, but hellacious, they are going to college on a full ride scholarship, which is better than must.

you two are ignorant if you think that all we do up here is farm. If it was the only thing we did well heck, we would still be putting food in the markets so you all could eat so why down a honest living? i think that the additions to the staff were great. Seem like some quality coaches we got. You cant expect them to step in the first year and win the state. Give them some credit, it was the first 20+ in the history of the school. From what i know of the coaches and players that we will have next season,i have decided to play my senior season. I think if a few underclassmen step it up we can be just as good if not better than this years team.

is it me or did all the messages from that clone guy get deleted along with my response to him? i dont recall saying anything negative. someone explain? it is probably for the better that they did get removed, but i would like to know cause ive been looking for my message i thought i might have put it in the wrong thread.

no word were said at all, unless it was the ladies of the group, i was in the row that was all the guys and we were actually just talking to a couple of the fans.One was the guy that got throw out last time we played you all at Betsy. he was a pretty cool guy. But other than that nothing was said in a negative way.

well part of the problem they might have not have anywhere to sit was because we (volunteer) made our student section where betsy student section was, so im sure there were students that had no where to sit at. I would like to thank Elizabethton for the class that their student's showed us. They never complained one bit about us sitting there and they were cheering and making signs for us during the game. i talked to a few of their students...really nice guys. thanks betsy for welcoming us and good luck in the regionals.

if you havent ventured up to East Tennessee coming and watching Chucky Lindholm play basketball is a treat. I was looking at a statsheet the players get everyweek and i believe he is average 22 ppg this season. but dont quote me on this.

split is right, SH's full court pressure is leathal. it froze volunteer in their tracks.If im not correct Spencer Mercer is a very good guard for greeneville. He just hasnt played yet because of football. Anyway, good luck this year Greeneville, i doubt you will beat SH however.
