  1. Hey, as soon as someone gets the results of the 112 finals could you please post? Thanks.
  2. 103-Martin 112-Bundy 119-Cordell 125-James 130-Holliman 135-Lane 140-*shrugs* 145-Davis 152-Cody 160-Gibson 171-Blackmon 189-Campbell
  3. Wrestlerguy: Thank you, you just completely made my day
  4. 103-Rudas 112-Bundy or Tinsley (yes, I'm a bit biased) 119-Cordell 125-James 130-Seaman (region 7 represent!) or Holliman 135-Lane 140-Konz 145-Davis 152-Borneman 160-Gibson 171-Blackmon 189-Pease or Campbell (I don't know any results from their previous matches) 215-Brooks 275-No clue Well, those are my predictions. As for 112, we'll have to see whether or not Bundy gets by Ortiz to make it to Tinsley. He may have lost to Ortiz last time, but I don't think he's been beaten twice by the same person all year. With 130, I haven't seen the bracket for this weight class but I would predict Seaman and Holliman in the finals if the brackets pan out that way.
  5. I think I revealed my secret identity earlier on in this thread. Anyways, my name is Joseph Oliverius. I wrestled for Hendersonville last year.
  6. WrestleSBA: I'll be going 165 if that helps at all.
  7. All of these wrestlers are great, but I wouldn't count Bundy out. He does have an extremely hard bracket with Ortiz and Tinsley on his side. But as they say, "If you want to be the best you have to beat the best." I'm sure that these will all be extremely close, intense matches, but I think that if Bundy wrestles his A game he will be able to pull out his first state championship. But yeah, the 112 weight class alone will be worth the price of admission.
  8. toobad, I wrestled in region 7 for 4 years while I was in highschool and have not once had any reason to think poorly of Kenwood or their coach. They have always shown a lot of class. It is my opinion that you are just bitter towards them for some reason. For future reference, if you don't want people to just write you off as an angry child you may want to back up your statements with facts. "Coach Masters is annoying," is not very convincing and only reflects poorly upon yourself and your program.
  9. It's a shame that there were so many talented wrestlers at 119 in Region 7 and we couldn't have more of them represent us. Congratulations to all the qualifyers. If I know Ric, he'll be training very hard this summer and be ready for regions next year. Again, congratulations to all the Region 7 state qualifiers and good luck at state.
  10. Switch: I just looked at the brackets, Tinsley and Ortiz are on the same side of the brackets as is Nic Bundy. I think that the 112 weight class is going to boil down to just who has the most heart and desire. Ortiz, Tinslely, Bundy, Pair, and Coleman are all top notch wrestlers and will be sure to fight every second of the match. This is going to be the most exciting weight class in my opinion.
  11. botw: My name is Joseph Oliverius. I wrestled for Hendersonville High School and graduated just last year. I'm thinking of transferring to MTSU to start wrestling again and figure that the off-season tournaments will be a great way to help get back in shape.
  12. wow, this sounds like the open division should be a really fun event. most of you don't know me, but I'll probably be wrestling 165. I haven't been on the mat for awhile, so I can't wait to get back on. Thanks for all the information everyone.
  13. Hey, just wondering. Are there any other wrestlers planning on competing in the open division of Bolton's tournament? I'm thinking of going, but would like to know that there would be some others to compete with. Thanks
  14. botw: Bradley winning state? That's crazy talk!
  15. I'm going to throw in Hendersonville High School along with Beech. They are both in a very competitive region and have been progressing very quickly, especially HHS.
  16. Does anyone have any information on any tournaments with an 18 and up age group?
  17. I know that, I was just putting a good word in for Alex. I graduated from H'ville last year so I know the whole team pretty well.
  18. Gumbi: Bogdan took 5th at the Ryan tournament nearly pinning the Simpson boy. As for region matches I know he's been doing well, but it's hard for me to keep track of all that from Mississippi. But as I said, I could be completely wrong. We'll see this weekend.
  19. If Dennis Bogdan fom Hendersonville goes 135 I'm pretty sure he'll take it. He's already beaten Beech's guy. As for 103, I haven't seen Jamal Shelton wrestle at all so I'm just making an educated guess that I think Alex Bogdan from Hendersonville should be at least in the finals (I'm a Hendersonville fan, what can I say?). Nevertheless, good luck to everyone this weekend, I wish I could be there.
  20. I think that Trevor from Beech may have a shot at placing this year, he's almost a sure thing for 2nd in Region 7 (1st being Pease of course).
  21. CHS152: cw160 is right, you don't owe him an apology but it shows a lot of class that you did.
  22. That Region 7 list looks pretty accurate, I'd give 125 to Justin Tisdale (Beech) though.
  23. "Schute's an animal! You're crazy going after him Louden!" Honestly I don't know why I put that, but a Vision Quest reference never hurts.
