  1. There isn't anything wrong with people actually being realistic for a change. I really hope that when you say "mash this bunch in the mouth" that you are not talking about Tyner, seeing how they average well over 250lbs. up front with two of them D1 prospects. If you mash them in the mouth, then they will smack you in the mouth over and over and over. Tyner is the biggest and the fastest team in the region, and not to mention that they have the most dedicated coach around. Aiming for second place would be a successful season for Sequatchie Co., they would get home field advantage in the first round and possibly even the second round if someone could pull an upset.
  2. Tyner-40 Brainerd-6 Tyner's pass rush will make the difference.
  3. I saw Sweetwater in a scrimmage this summer and they probably had the sloppiest O-Line that I've ever seen on a high school team. You can't run the Wing-T with slow out of shape lineman, and after having a good season last year they better watch out because everybody is gonna want to kick you when you're down.
  4. I watched the tape of the Brainerd and Red Bank, and that was by far the worst Red Bank team that I've ever seen. I honestly couldn't believe that I was watching Red Bank, now I see why Tom Weathers left when he did.
  5. How old is the kid, because I think that is common for most 8th graders to be 13 or 14 years old. I would have a hard time believing that a kid that carries that much weight at such a young age could be healthy, but if he is that good then I'm sure that I'll see him play someday.
  6. He came back last week and is probably at about 80%. He should be back in playing shape within a couple of weeks
  7. All that Sequatchie needs to do is watch #24 on the dive and trap. He is a short thick back that is hard to tackle, but he doesn't seem to be very fast. Tyner's team speed is probably a little bit different then the other teams in the region, so he may be able to break off a few long runs, but Sequatchie should still win easily.
  8. Tyner and Brainerd is probably the most overlooked rivalry in the Chattanooga area. Players from both teams know each other very well and it should be a very heated game, especially with the panthers being undefeated so far this season.
  9. I hope that Central is this over-confident when they play Tyner in a few weeks.
  10. I honestly have to say that I have never seen a Marion County team that was this bad. Tyner didn't even play that great of a game and they still lead 34-6 at the half. It's a shame that the program that we were once obsessed about beating has turned into a joke. Sequatchie should win this game by 2 or 3 touchdowns, if you stop #24 then they basically have no offensive threat.
  11. I date one of the very few black girls from Bledsoe Co., and I'm a white guy from Tyner. Pretty odd huh, but anyway Sequatchie will win 35-7.
  12. tyner hasn't won since 97' and I believe that Milan hasn't it since 99', but I could be wrong. I would love to see Tyner in 3a or 4a that way more teams in the area would have to play them, instead of them having to play private schools to get a test.
  13. During my entire high school years we only left our helmets on for one game, and that was because the other school and their fans disrespected us during our team prayer. After we beat them down they never did it again!!!
  14. This really isn't a hard topic to discuss. Demonte Bolden is the number one ranked player in the state, the number one ranked defensive end in the country, and the 25th ranked over all player in the country.
  15. I haven't heard if he is playing or not. I plan on finding out later today.
