I have just recently found out that s'town has published an article in the local newspaper about this incident. i am not for sure who the reporter was but the article was a straight out lie. it stated that Cwoods principal was yelling at the ref and slandering private schools. Even if this was true how can yelling about private schools at a non private school game get you thrown out of a ballgame? this is truly ridiculous. The ref that caused all ofthe commotion at the ball game was also the one that stated this in the paper. This will be my last post on this thread because this is truly ridiculous and i think everyone agrees.

Nothing happened to the fans that were told to leave the gym. It was a ridiculous act from the refs. The fans that were taken out really did nothing to be ejected that doesn't happen at any other ball game. One of the fans did not say a single word but was asked by the police to leave.Personally I think the refs need to learn how to handle the crowd a little better. If you will recall this has happened more than once this year (wayne co. santa fe)with the fans being ejected or given some sort of technical. As the cwood fans were exiting the gym the cops and the state trooper apologized and agreed that the refs needed to get their act together. Maybe TSSAA needs to be more critical when they pick their refs!!! [Edited by trojanette20 on 1-22-03 10:34P]

I have to say i was expecting a much better game from perry co. but I found out that they have a pretty young team. The cats played an excellent game. Congratulations to wayne co for the win.

Sounds like the old guy has a bad grudge against Wayne County. Just wanted to say Congrats to the cats. Hope JD Byrd gets to feelin better. Also wanna say congrats to Cwood for stickin it out through the whole game. Just keep workin guys!

I was so amazed when i reached the park around 11:30. there were so many people there to greet adam. It makes me realize how great it is to live in a small town like Collinwood.I know that everyone is overjoyed to see Adam and the rest of his family home. Everyone just keep praying for adam. I have faith in him. he is a very strong willed person.

all american, if you noticed cwood beat summertown and i read in the newspaper the guys from the 'boro lost to s'town. i am not sayin cwood will beat wayne co. but it will be a good game so don't get your hopes up to high for that win. GO TROJANS (by the way please try to lay off of the cousinwood thing it is getting really lame)

i heard cwood got kinda cheated out by the refs, unfortunately i was unable to attend the ball game to see if this was true. i was really shocked to hear that cwood lost to zion. congrats to the zion team.

great game for the trojans! they were very impressive! hope to see the rest of the games go as smooth as last nights!

Just wanted to say, even though cwood lost they really impressed me. they came out with the notion that they were going to play the entire game. they never gave up once in the ball game. I really am proud of my girls! they are a very young team with 3 starters being sophomores they have a long way to go.they are a very strong team though and a few losses will not get their hopes down!i think they will have a pretty positive season on into the year. I think beverly has to go back to the doctor b/c of some possible torn cartilage. Lets just hope everythings okay. really want to see her play a little after x-mas. GO TROJANS!!!!

Abby Andrews is one of the top seventh graders in the state. She plays for collinwood jr high school. I honestly have never seen anyone else witht his much atheletic ability.I can't wait to see her play in high school. i also think she has dne extremely great during this hard time withher brother adam andrews after his terrible accident during a jv football game. Good Luck abby in your many coming years of playing ball.

I think the C'wood team is going to suprise a lot of people this year. and i think that they will be in at least the top 5 in the district. with the new guy from texas and the addition of green,and victory they will have a lot of raw talent( they just have to use it to the best of their ability). I also saw another new face on the bench though i don't know his name. I watched the trojans play a scrimmage game against adamsville and even though they got beat i saw a great team. I also noticed that jonathan ward was playing. wonder if he is just going to practice with them to stay in shape or will he actually play?!?! He also contributed a lot durin the scrimmage.
